Iron_Dreamer Posted December 3, 2011 Report Posted December 3, 2011 Good idea Greg. Peter, please send me In-N-Out burgers. You're so easy...animal style, I assume? Quote
HeadphoneAddict Posted December 3, 2011 Report Posted December 3, 2011 I made this suggestion to manaox2 in a PM, to help try to keep the gift a surprise, and not have to come right out and say what you want (like buying it yourself through the other person). "We could consider exchanging something consumable, something that we like and that we want to see if the other might like it too - i.e. food, alcohol, tea, coffee, etc. Almost like a "kid going away to camp care-package" with their favorite things in it. This way if the other one of us already has that item then it will be sure to be enjoyed at some point down the road." This would not rule out fruitcake, although tylenol with codeine might cause too much of a stir. Quote
spritzer Posted December 3, 2011 Report Posted December 3, 2011 (edited) Being a baker, I'm sure that Birgir would appreciate receiving a nice Fruitcake. I think I might have one from two or three Christmases ago. I'll send you some, 2.5L of Cognac used for one batch... Edited December 3, 2011 by spritzer Quote
The Monkey Posted December 3, 2011 Report Posted December 3, 2011 I was already getting this for Jeff for his work commute: But it will not be ready for Christmas, so I will need to figure out something else. Quote
faust3d Posted December 3, 2011 Report Posted December 3, 2011 Faust! I hardly know ye, but should be fun getting to know you. Um, do I have to sell my soul? I will take it as a gift, no need to sell. Also send a long some shinny silver disks. I will do the same Quote
bhjazz Posted December 3, 2011 Report Posted December 3, 2011 (edited) Bhjazz, we're gift mates!!! Very cool! Doees this mean you're sending me a cheerleader? I'll drop you a pm today and we can discuss her what we want to do! Edited December 3, 2011 by bhjazz Quote

Augsburger Posted December 4, 2011 Report Posted December 4, 2011 *crosses legs* ( can you say catheter?) Quote
Torpedo Posted December 4, 2011 Report Posted December 4, 2011 (edited) *crosses legs* ( can you say catheter?) Maybe not in perfect English, but in decent Engrish and Spanish. I also can say cannula and urethra, so beware Now I'm scared. Nah, I won't ship anything heavier than about 10lbs. That gives for a head and little else. Edited December 4, 2011 by Torpedo Quote

HeadphoneAddict Posted December 14, 2011 Report Posted December 14, 2011 What method do you guys use to ship alcohol? Do you sneak it into a box and ship UPS, or do you have a liquor store ship it for you, etc? Quote
swt61 Posted December 14, 2011 Report Posted December 14, 2011 Stealth fighter has worked well for me in the past. Quote
