I know some people have done some remodels lately and Steve seems to be the bathroom remodel king queen. So I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or models/brands to avoid. Quote

Also American Standard Cadet 3 seems to be liked. No mention of dual flush vs regular flush. Oh, and I hope Jacob eventually got his toilet fixed. Quote

If I were buying a new toilet it'd be one with the tank built in, and smooth sides for easy cleaning, and there is now a toilet seat that can be removed in seconds by twisting two knobs. Use the shower to clean the seat, and a shitty job just got a lot easier. Quote

skullguise Posted November 21, 2011 Report Posted November 21, 2011 (edited) That IS nice.....and a built-in tank is indeed good; the pieces connecting the tank to the base are often the first thing to wear (other than the flushing mechanism). It's what led me to replace two toilets, slow leaks of rusty water....yech.......
