I was wondering what some headphone brands were that have vintage looking headphones. The ones I have on my list right now are Grado and Alessandro. Any help would be nice. That's really my only preference atm. Thx guys.

I think those are Ulrasones, for the OP's benefit.

No no, they are clearly iems.

They may be IEMs, but the important take away from this is that they SOUND like Ultrasones...

Blessing, are those pictures you posted (or at least the one with the army looking dudes) early radar type devices? Are they listening for airplanes? huh.png Pretty amazing. Those kinds of inventions are so much cooler than the new iphone4s with dual hemoraging flumoxes.

The Pickering ad was cool too, it's interesting seeing old advertising it's so simple and straightforward.

Pickering! Forgot about them.

Here's a classic that's still available:

Those are a big part of why I have chronic tinnitus now - as a stupid teenager in the 70's I played them loud enough to make my ears almost bleed (and the other part was the loud concerts - Kiss, Peter Frampton, Heart). I loved them at the time out of my Marantz 2240, but I wonder if I'd still like them today.
