Too bad you guys cannot distribute some chinchon dulce anis to me
Inu Posted September 6, 2011 Report Posted September 6, 2011 (edited) FYI 2SA1413 (Z) / 2SC3632 (Z) = TO-251 (TO-252) version of the 2SA1486 / 2SC3840. Edited September 6, 2011 by Inu
Torpedo Posted September 6, 2011 Report Posted September 6, 2011 I might be be able to help, but it will have to be next week at the earliest. Too bad you guys cannot distribute some chinchon dulce anis to me Why not? Customs block to foreign spirits?
luvdunhill Posted September 6, 2011 Report Posted September 6, 2011 Why not? Customs block to foreign spirits? Yup, that's what I've been told.. I can get the Seco here, nice stuff, but had a bad experience with the Marie Brizard Anisette, very very sweet stuff and am looking for something else.
Torpedo Posted September 6, 2011 Report Posted September 6, 2011 Sorry, otherwise I would get you any bottle of whatever anÃs you want. Chinchón ones are good, seco is mildly dry, and dulce is just a bit drier than Marie Brizard. If you want it stronger, you have "seco especial" which is 74%vol (absinthe like), "extra seco" at 50-55% vol. Another good Spanish AnÃs is Machaquito, which has two types, "seco" at 55%vol and "dulce" 35%vol. I'd say Machaquito seco is one of my favorites, but if you like this kind of strong spirits, you may wish to try some Galician "orujo" or even a well made "pacharán" (or patxarán in the Basque Country) which uses orujo-like liquor flavored with fresh sloes put in for maceration.
deepak Posted September 6, 2011 Report Posted September 6, 2011 I picked up the boards from the PO, will unpack and make sure everything is ok tomorrow night. Will need to find an extra big box for bada bing, n3rdling, KG and deadneddz I could see the suspension in my Civic sag as I placed that box in my boot
Horio Posted September 6, 2011 Report Posted September 6, 2011 Thanks for the update Deepak. I'm really looking forward to warming up the iron for this build.

Too bad you guys cannot distribute some chinchon dulce anis to me Many thanks for your offer. I not sure if the customs allowed to pass spirits but if it's possible send one bottle of orujo, I will send you one for you -- o -- Rodrigo "from Galicia ;-)"

My paypal was restored today, what a relief! Rodrigo, I have some spare IXTP from the last group buy. How many pieces do you need?
Region2 Posted September 7, 2011 Report Posted September 7, 2011 Got the boards in hand. Thanks again, Lil_Knight! I only have Hden and my order and it's heavy! You must have gotten quite the work out shipping these all out.
PICaudio Posted September 7, 2011 Report Posted September 7, 2011 Thanks for your work. My paypal was restored today, what a relief! Rodrigo, I have some spare IXTP from the last group buy. How many pieces do you need? I have 2 KGSSHV kits and I need a minimum of 8 pieces, but if it's possible I would prefer having some spare part, if you can sell me 16 or 20 would be perfect. Many thanks Tran -- o -- Rodrigo
Milosz Posted September 7, 2011 Report Posted September 7, 2011 Kevin Gilmore wrote: Get yourself one of these http://www.ebay.com/...=item1c1d98666e and test all the high voltage transistors before you put them in. Great suggestion! I didn't know you could get something to characterize transistors for so little money. Ordered one! I had not come across this on eBay in my perusal... thanks for to the OP and to the secondary poster for pointing it out. Before I actually start this T2 build I've got to finish reading the whole DIY T2 thread- so many things making demands on my time...
deepak Posted September 7, 2011 Report Posted September 7, 2011 PM sent to all 13 people regarding the shipping breakdown. And individual totals sent to kevin gilmore, kerry, morphsci, and horio.
guzziguy Posted September 7, 2011 Report Posted September 7, 2011 I didn't get a PM. I was on the original list to get a set of KGSSHV boards. Did I fall off?
deepak Posted September 7, 2011 Report Posted September 7, 2011 I didn't get a PM. I was on the original list to get a set of KGSSHV boards. Did I fall off? You weren't on my list to send boards to.
eggil Posted September 8, 2011 Report Posted September 8, 2011 I didn't get a PM. I was on the original list to get a set of KGSSHV boards. Did I fall off? I think your name is in my shipment although I have not received it yet. Your number in the spreadsheet is the same as mine.
Lil Knight Posted September 8, 2011 Author Report Posted September 8, 2011 Yes, that is correct. In the spreadsheet, I put the notes on some bold usernames to state whose boards they will receive and distribute.
deadlylover Posted September 8, 2011 Report Posted September 8, 2011 (edited) Sweet!, I should be receiving the boards shortly. I has a bunch of those 3kg express post sachels left over from something, I got them for free somehow, I forget. I'm pretty sure the kgsshv boards will fit into them, but I dunno about the T2 yet. So if you only ordered the kgsshv and don't mind having it sent by express post, you won't have to pay me for shipping. ^^ edit: woops, I was talking about Team Australia, and this may or may not have supposed to be in the PM lol Edited September 8, 2011 by deadlylover
nattonrice Posted September 8, 2011 Report Posted September 8, 2011 The t2 boards are so fucking big that mailing them is a right pita. If that's an auspost satchel I don't think the boards will fit...
kevin gilmore Posted September 8, 2011 Report Posted September 8, 2011 When i shipped the T2 boards, i first took 2 x fedex priority envelopes, and put them on each end of the boards. Then i bought some padded foam envelopes from one of the business supply stores, put it in there, and shipped them. No problems, all of them got there in one piece.
livewire Posted September 8, 2011 Report Posted September 8, 2011 All this talk about shipping T2 boards and nobody has posted their size?
Lil Knight Posted September 8, 2011 Author Report Posted September 8, 2011 It's huge. 407mm x 304mm for the amp board, 254mm x 304mm for the PSU.
