justin Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 yes and i won a gift certificate for Larkburger on FB last year so i'll be bringing that
Pars Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 (edited) Double Meh... that isn't CanJam Also, is HF paying royalties for the name "CanJam"? Didn't Mike or one of the Florida contigent come up with that? Edited June 2, 2011 by Pars
Voltron Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 Sorry, JP Head-Fi, but I cannot make it to your meet.
Absorbine_Sr Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 I would really prefer CanJam at GABF. Now there's a thinking man... No pseudo CJ for me.
vvs_75 Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 Did you notice that the ad have dates already for the "Audoi FArST" up to 2015?
swt61 Posted June 3, 2011 Report Posted June 3, 2011 i won't be there, guaranteed. I may be, but only because I'm planning on winning the HGTV Green Home in Denver.
grawk Posted June 3, 2011 Report Posted June 3, 2011 Does being in the mafia help with the HGTV raffles?
Wmcmanus Posted June 3, 2011 Report Posted June 3, 2011 Haven't been to Denver for any significant time in several years, and have family within an hour, but October is a tough time to get away... plus it's a little late in the game for twisty mountain canyon cruising. Agreed that this won't be a CanJam as we've come to know and love them, but I've never been to a RMAF. Would kind of like to go just for the heck of it, but it's such a shame to pop in and out of Colorado and not have the time to enjoy the scenery. That, and I can never manage to make it to Acoustic Sounds "Blues at the Crossroads" event which is also in October, and that would take priority if I could get away.
CarlSeibert Posted June 3, 2011 Report Posted June 3, 2011 I'd love to to go to an RMAF, but those dates are terrible for me. I prolly won't make it this year, either. And I want real CanJam back. Whaaaaaaa!
shellylh Posted June 3, 2011 Report Posted June 3, 2011 Unfortunately, I will be traveling to Lincoln, NE that weekend.
tyrion Posted June 3, 2011 Report Posted June 3, 2011 I had a great time last year and I am hoping to make it this year since the Langerado lineup sucks. This is a fun event and I am looking forward to it.
909 Posted June 4, 2011 Report Posted June 4, 2011 (edited) i've been wanting to go to RMAF for a while. hopefully, this year i can make it a reality. Edited June 4, 2011 by 909
manaox2 Posted June 4, 2011 Report Posted June 4, 2011 Thinking maybe I'll go instead to the GABF and bring my own headphones.
Iron_Dreamer Posted June 4, 2011 Report Posted June 4, 2011 If I'm in CO this October, it'll be for GABF first and foremost. Maybe RMAF if I can spend the intervening two weeks hiking and shooting, with no need to be somewhere else.
bhjazz Posted June 4, 2011 Report Posted June 4, 2011 RMAF would be cool. Doc B. is always there, so that would easily be worth the trip. Might be fun to show up and have our own ClanJam. We can press up a batch of No Huddler-Fi shirts for the occasion.
Dusty Chalk Posted June 4, 2011 Report Posted June 4, 2011 Do I sense an undercurrent of a GABF 2011 Meet?Really? Is that a question? I think it's just a matter of whether or not the maybes turn into yesses or noeses. I, unfortunately, am heading in the 'no' direction. I blame Within Temptation. We can press up a batch of No Huddler-Fi 'Tyll for President' shirts for the occasion.
Asr Posted June 4, 2011 Author Report Posted June 4, 2011 (edited) If folks are really going to come out for GABF, tickets for that go on sale 6/30. Lots of nearby hotels that are offering up to quad rates too: http://www.greatamericanbeerfestival.com/travel/hotels/ Will help out however as needed too, for airport rides to/from or whatever else. (No free shuttles between the airport and downtown Denver exist.) Edited June 4, 2011 by Asr
