mikeymad Posted October 31, 2011 Report Posted October 31, 2011 NP guys... I download tons of stuff. BBC is about 25% of my 750G per month. Plus I share a lot which also counts against me. Also there are no problems until I get a call... Cheers,
HeadphoneAddict Posted October 31, 2011 Report Posted October 31, 2011 We're at 245Gb this month, but usually stay under 200Gb.
crappyjones123 Posted October 31, 2011 Report Posted October 31, 2011 Wonder how I can monitor my usage...would be fun statistic methinks.
cetoole Posted November 1, 2011 Report Posted November 1, 2011 My router monitors it. Shows 96gb for the month of October, which is double the next highest month. Huh.
Grahame Posted November 1, 2011 Report Posted November 1, 2011 ^ Colin you want the total, not just WHERE CONTENT EQUALS HOT ASIAN CHICKS
Torpedo Posted November 1, 2011 Report Posted November 1, 2011 His router measures traffic in Gigaboobs
crappyjones123 Posted November 1, 2011 Report Posted November 1, 2011 Well at home we have a 3mbit dsl line. So that never gets used for my purposes. The connection would need to be used 24/7 and with no one else being able to use the Internet. Most of the bit movement happens at school. Any way to monitor usage on my laptop itself without bogging the system down?
grawk Posted November 2, 2011 Report Posted November 2, 2011 I bet the RIAA will do that for you, crap.
Knuckledragger Posted March 15, 2012 Author Report Posted March 15, 2012 Wow. My ISP has been taking its vitamins, apparently. Normally I get 12/1 - 15/2.
revolink24 Posted March 15, 2012 Report Posted March 15, 2012 (edited) With a new apartment comes new internet speeds. Not too shabby, but a far cry from my old university internet. Edited March 15, 2012 by revolink24
n_maher Posted March 15, 2012 Report Posted March 15, 2012 I think Comcast games the system with their initial burst speeds but I generally do get around 3MB/sec sustained speeds. It costs an arm and a leg though.
Grand Enigma Posted March 15, 2012 Report Posted March 15, 2012 This is what I get for living in the boonies of NJ.
Grahame Posted March 16, 2012 Report Posted March 16, 2012 Recently upgraded at work . That's not the true throughput, as its managed locally for "fairness" , so that's just my symmetrical slice o'the pie, but that is a tasty ping.
Augsburger Posted March 16, 2012 Report Posted March 16, 2012 Finally, I am giving Nate a run for his money. Take that Time Warner, hello Fios.
Grand Enigma Posted March 16, 2012 Report Posted March 16, 2012 Wish I had some newfangled, non-backwoods hick ISP. My option is my local cable provider or Hughes net.... I had to argue to get 10MB... they didn't want to hook me up if I was going to be using it for gaming or downloading movies
shellylh Posted March 16, 2012 Report Posted March 16, 2012 (edited) Mine is pretty good when it is actually working. Nice speeds Greg. Edited March 16, 2012 by shellylh
