The Pepsi Refresh Project (Pepsi) is giving away millions of dollars to fund great ideas. Grants are awarded to any idea that makes it to the top ten by receiving the most votes.

The non-profit organization I am voting for and supporting all this month is the I Am Innocent preventative program, which is in the running for $50K – they are dedicated to preventing wrongful convictions through education, prevention, and reform. You can also help them get the most votes!

Here's how it works: Voting has begun and will continue until January 31, 2010. Voting will remain open every day through the month of January at which time the top 10 vote getters will be awarded $50K! It's that simple!

Here's how you can help: Vote every day for the I Am Innocent Project. There are three ways to vote:

1. Vote from your mobile phone Text* 105379 to Pepsi (73774) *standard text messaging rates apply.

2. Vote on the Pepsi Refresh Everything website -- I Am Innocent

3. Vote on Facebook -- I Am Innocent

What to do now: VOTE NOW, vote every day, all three ways! Text 105379 to 73774, Pepsi Refresh and Facebook

PLEASE VOTE EVERY DAY!!!

Your daily votes mean a great, great deal.

Thank you in advance, as I am already grateful and appreciative of your support.

Sounds like a great idea. I don't trust pepsi with any of the information they want... so I'm using google voice to send the text. Just letting other people know in case they are like me.

thank you. i've signed up to vote at the pepsi website without any issue, not like it's really top secret information that isn't searchable on the net for the most part. i've tried voting with google voice via text and, for whatever reason, i do not receive a confirmation text back from pepsi, which is the norm. because when i text from my iphone within a few seconds pepsi response with a confirmation text.
