Here's one for the IT guys:

I share a printer between 4 computers on a network and I want to monitor how many copies are printed from each of them.

It seemed to me like a rather simple and common thing to do, but I've spent the last hour googling for a free solution to the problem and apparently it doesn't exist. There are many enterprise solutions, but I won't pay 100$ to do such a simple task on my home network.

Have I overlooked something?

I don't really have any answers myself, but some more info on the setup would probably help those who do. Is the printer directly connected to the network or one of the computers? What OS are the computers running?

Windows 7 everywhere, and I can either set the printer individually on each computer, or install it on one computer and share it with the others. It's a wireless HP laser printer. I can get page count in the printer properties, but that's the total page count of the printer.
