swt61 Posted April 20, 2017 Report Posted April 20, 2017 I always wanted to have a little cowboy, and name him Greg! 1
naamanf Posted April 20, 2017 Report Posted April 20, 2017 Good luck. I've already established he doesn't like being kissed by a man. 3
Augsburger Posted April 20, 2017 Report Posted April 20, 2017 Last weekend, today and for the next week I will be fixing up our guest bedroom for our house guest who may be staying with us for two months. So far Mary has bought new furniture and forced me to repaint and move old furniture out of the room. Unfortunately the guest bedroom has been my local wine storage room until now, so now I have six cases of wine stored in our bedroom which match quite nicely with the curtains. 5

I can dispose of that for you.
Augsburger Posted April 20, 2017 Report Posted April 20, 2017 I have my own preferred method thank you, though it may take a couple of weeks. 1

Grahame Posted April 21, 2017 Report Posted April 21, 2017 Watched the people watching for the bats under the bridge in Austin 3
Augsburger Posted April 21, 2017 Report Posted April 21, 2017 They have nothing better to do than watch bats? Y'all can come to my place I have bats and cold beer...reservations required. 1
Dusty Chalk Posted April 21, 2017 Report Posted April 21, 2017 Bats eat mosquitoes -- hence, bats are cool. In my book. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. 1
swt61 Posted April 21, 2017 Report Posted April 21, 2017 If memory serves, at Nate's you can interact with bats. 3
CD44hi Posted April 21, 2017 Report Posted April 21, 2017 I think one possible reason why people have been getting interested into bats relates to the apparent immunodeficiency that leads to fungal colonization and eventual demise. This is actually very worrisome as despite the low (but very real) risk of rabies, bats are great for the environment. Much like owls, the silent rodent killer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1

At times when warm and wet winters lead to massive mosquito populations, bats would be a welcome addition for me..... 1
jvlgato Posted April 22, 2017 Report Posted April 22, 2017 Marched for science with the wife and daughter, friend, and fellow geeks. Funniest moment was running into my daughter's 5th grade teacher last year with her partner who was carrying a sign with the following elements and words: Flourine Uranium Carbon Potassium Trump/Spence 8
tyrion Posted April 26, 2017 Report Posted April 26, 2017 Found this burger place. Anyone been? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 5
Voltron Posted April 27, 2017 Report Posted April 27, 2017 They all look exactly the same so I might have been to that one. 1
Dusty Chalk Posted April 27, 2017 Report Posted April 27, 2017 Burgers with a palm tree theme -- Hawaiian? Big Kahuna Burger?
tyrion Posted April 27, 2017 Report Posted April 27, 2017 Las Vegas. I can go to Five Guys anytime and don't. If I lived here, would probably never go. It's a HC thing for me since first time was with a bunch of you guys. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 3

If my back settles down I will do another tomorrow after the deposition. I need to find a good coffee shop near where I'm staying. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
Dreadhead Posted April 27, 2017 Report Posted April 27, 2017 A number of years ago I rented a bike and rode out to Red Rocks with my wife. That's a great place. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk 2
