CD44hi Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 Watched my oldest friend get honored on the Rachel Ray show. http://www.rachaelrayshow.com/celebs/18919_meet_a_chef_who_s_using_food_to_change_lives/index.html That is really cool. Such a great mission.

crappyjones123 Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 Used a Swype keyboard for the first time. Purchased Swype keyboard immediately. This thing is awesome. 2
MexicanDragon Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 Welcome to 2011, my fiend. **BRENT** 1

Grahame Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 The Apple fans use FaceTime, that way they don't have to engage with the great unwashed. It is rumored that Google fans use hangouts. Both of them WebEx, here for work.
Knuckledragger Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 Got a text message last night from the promoters who are doing a huge halloween party tonight. They can't afford to pay me to do lights. Oddly enough, I don't work for free. I've been planning for this thing for a month now. I moved my radio show to tomorrow night (and heavily advertised the fact). So tonight I am ....staying at home with most of the lights off (I don't have any halloween candy, nor do I care to go get some.) Tomorrow I'm doing my show as planned.
Grahame Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 Perfect excuse to rage join KF / TF2 tonight, Knucks. Fuckers.
CarlSeibert Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 Knucks, that blows. If you're not Walmart, doing business nowadays is just torture. I just bought the smallest bag of Halloween candy I could find. I couldn't bring myself to buy something that I can't stand (which was what Bonnie recommended), so if we have the same miserable lack of ghouls and goblins that presented last year, I'll be eating to many mini Reeses. 1
Dusty Chalk Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 I still have my halloween candy from 2012...somewhere...I should probably throw it out.
CarlSeibert Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 Brought in the mail. Biggest post card I've ever seen. I've already voted, BTW. For the other guy. Meanwhile, I ordered four SD cards from Amazon for work. And Amazon is losing money on Prime shipping. Not a shock, really.
morphsci Posted November 1, 2014 Author Report Posted November 1, 2014 Did you get a TV hanging kit? What did the TV do? 1
en480c4 Posted November 1, 2014 Report Posted November 1, 2014 Closed on the sale of the condo at 8:30 and on the purchase of the house at 4:00. Big day! 10
Grahame Posted November 1, 2014 Report Posted November 1, 2014 (edited) Met a tall man in a pub with old beams and low ceilings, because: irony. Discussed media consumption habits of the young and aging parents. Made a nice break from the merry go round of family obligation's. Cheers 'stretch. Enjoy your time in the old country, and your "honorary mother" title. Judging by how well behaved your son was, you deserve it. As its turned dark and chilly, time for a small indulgence in the form of a cuppa and a "shortie" Edited November 1, 2014 by Grahame 8
Hopstretch Posted November 1, 2014 Report Posted November 1, 2014 Enjoy your time in the old country, and your "honorary mother" title. I'm sorry but I think you misheard, that was "ornery mofo". Was good to see you too -- sorry for the runaround and enjoy the few days off from family obligations! 3
Salt Peanuts Posted November 2, 2014 Report Posted November 2, 2014 (edited) Closed on the sale of the condo at 8:30 and on the purchase of the house at 4:00. Big day! I'd missed this earlier, but congrats Ian! As for me, I spent part of the day fixing (software/OS issue) my in-law's laptop. I'd forgotten how painful it is to fix a pre-built Windows machine. n_maher Posted November 2, 2014 Report Posted November 2, 2014 Currently watching it spit snow and rain while working on projects around the house. And I'm pretty sure I just heard thunder... I think thunder snow is a precursor to a sharknado. 4
guzziguy Posted November 2, 2014 Report Posted November 2, 2014 (edited) Currently watching it spit snow and rain while working on projects around the house. And I'm pretty sure I just heard thunder... I think thunder snow is a precursor to a sharknado. Fall finally arrived here yesterday. We got the first appreciable rain (1.5 inches) in at least 6 months. I needed a sweat top for the first time since last winter. Of course, it will get back up to 80 later this week. I'll have to turn the heat on sometime soon. Edited November 2, 2014 by guzziguy
