Dusty Chalk Posted April 14, 2011 Report Posted April 14, 2011 Anyone? Anyone replace their hard drive in their iPod classic and think $179 is a good deal, even if a refurb, and I have to trade my current old one in?
jinp6301 Posted April 14, 2011 Report Posted April 14, 2011 (edited) Ive changed the hard drive in my ipod classic a few times. Never had any problems doing it. And $179 seems like a good deal. But it seems like you can get a refurb ipod for $210 without trading your old one in. http://store.apple.com/us/product/FC297LL/A?afid=p210|pgbr&cid=AOS-US-SHOP-Pricegrabber graduating late feels bad man its not actually graduating late, but just not graduating early non-related, I THINK I LOST MY TRIPLE FIS. Dusty Chalk Posted April 14, 2011 Report Posted April 14, 2011 Yeah, that was my reasoning -- for $30 more and the cost of a hard drive, I could try it, and then I would have 3 iPods. Or I could go all out and get a ridiculously huge SSD drive, since it's the older, fatter model. That would be fun -- a tricked out iPod classic. Or for $70 more I could just get a new one and have "Dusty Chalk" laser engraved on it. EDIT: I can even break it up -- buy the replacement iPod now, get the hard drive for the other one later.
Dusty Chalk Posted April 14, 2011 Report Posted April 14, 2011 Awyeah, even better. Thanks for that. EDIT: But actually, it'll probably be: Dusty Chalk d-_-b
Dusty Chalk Posted April 14, 2011 Report Posted April 14, 2011 No, if I'm going to do that, I'm going to use The Arts/Comedy and Tragedy like I do::-Dusty :-Chalk d-_-b or: :-Dusty (halk d-_-b[/code]But actually, yeah, I may want to do that, too. I wish I could do that size=1, then I'd put an emoticon kitty next to me.
shellylh Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 Got great news today, no surgery for hubby!!!!!!!!!!! He has been doing really well. His white blood cell count was 9200 today (vs 17000 when he came in on Sunday night) which is in the normal range (although at the high end). He was allowed to have a liquid diet today and should be allowed real food tomorrow. They estimate that he will be able to go home Saturday morning (but might let him go home tomorrow afternoon). He also feeling really good. Just thought I would update everyone.
manaox2 Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 Congrats on the great news Shelly! Had open house tonight for the incoming sixth graders. The tension for everyone waiting for spring break to begin next week is palpable.
morphsci Posted April 15, 2011 Author Report Posted April 15, 2011 Great news for you and your husband Shelly.
Dusty Chalk Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 Here's to hoping he keeps getting better. Plenty of liquids and plenty of rest. For both of you!

luvdunhill Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 Indeed. However, I've had enough Fi-Bars for two people, perhaps find another good supplement
shellylh Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 He already takes Metamucil everyday, I will have to start making him Metamucil and broccoli shakes for every meal. Yuck.
manaox2 Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 Fiber one and yoplait lite is pretty good for a quick breakfast for me. Flat bread and hummus as a mid afternoon snack gets you there. Can't imagine the first week of getting the recommended amount of fiber being fun.
Torpedo Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 Great news indeed Shelly, I'm truly happy for you
