MexicanDragon Posted August 15, 2014 Report Posted August 15, 2014 Take care of yourself, Brent. You seriously need to make your exercises and eventually lose weight and all that shit. I was actually a couple hours from breaking in my new running shoes. **BRENT**
Aimless1 Posted August 15, 2014 Report Posted August 15, 2014 (edited) He's not in that boat alone. Get better Brent. Indeed. Charter member of that club. Heal up Brent. Edited August 15, 2014 by Aimless1 1
Mister X Posted August 15, 2014 Report Posted August 15, 2014 Replaced an old light fixture with a sensor light. But whoops. Forgot to buy caulk. 1
Dusty Chalk Posted August 16, 2014 Report Posted August 16, 2014 He's not in that boat alone. Get better Brent. Yeah, I wasn't giving him a hard time from the higher road, that's for sure, it was more of a "do what I say, not what I do" kind of thing.
shellylh Posted August 16, 2014 Report Posted August 16, 2014 Sorry Brent! Hope the the icing and anti-inflammatories help out. 1
en480c4 Posted August 20, 2014 Report Posted August 20, 2014 Had an awesome day celebrating Penlope's 1st birthday! 8
luvdunhill Posted August 20, 2014 Report Posted August 20, 2014 RMA'ed a WD Red drive. I guess this is why you pay for redundancy.
HeadphoneAddict Posted August 20, 2014 Report Posted August 20, 2014 RMA'ed a WD Red drive. I guess this is why you pay for redundancy. Having to spend money to ship back a defective drive sucks, but it sounds like you didn't lose any data. I'm told that all drives will fail at some point, so RAID redundancy is almost a must if you want minimal downtime.
skullguise Posted August 21, 2014 Report Posted August 21, 2014 ^^^ That is awesome, I know several (including myself) who would love that....
Grahame Posted August 21, 2014 Report Posted August 21, 2014 Email community at Cloudera dot com explaining why you would be a worthy recipient.
Mister X Posted August 22, 2014 Report Posted August 22, 2014 Went to check the damage in the garden from the storm that rolled through earlier and noticed the wild sunflowers had gone nuts. 2
Dusty Chalk Posted August 22, 2014 Report Posted August 22, 2014 It's like the flower equivalent of a Anton Corbijn photograph.
skullguise Posted August 22, 2014 Report Posted August 22, 2014 Wow, sturdy plants they be..... Grahame, I'll reach out to a buddy of mine who's at Cloudera, will see if he might be able to get me one or two....
Voltron Posted August 22, 2014 Report Posted August 22, 2014 Not to be pedantic again, but I think you meant Graim. 3
Salt Peanuts Posted August 22, 2014 Report Posted August 22, 2014 Keeping a tired infant awake so he can be asleep (i.e., not moving) during his audiology appointment a bit later. This is terrible.
blessingx Posted August 22, 2014 Report Posted August 22, 2014 (edited) ^ Ugh. Hope audiologist appt went well. Child care closed today so took the day off and Esmé and I had a blast. Highlights so far were hanging at a park and E's first movie theater experience. Her response to what'd she like most about Planes: Fire & Rescue - "the escalator!" (outside the theater). Okay, she's developing taste. Then we rode the escalator six thousand times. Edited August 23, 2014 by blessingx 13
