Ken, wishing you the best while on the mend!

This is a high side.

Basically the motorcycle bucks one off of it.

Kind of like an ejection seat caused by a qick change of momentum.

Normally caused by a rear tire losing, then regaining traction suddenly.

Braking is usually involved or a too quick left-right turning transition.

Jeezus, Ken!  in the (slightly paraphrased) immortal words of Danny Glover in whichever the fuck version of Lethal Weapon it was, "you're getting too old for this shit!"

Heal quickly, buddy, and be careful out there.

You look better than I expected for all those broken bones. I'd look way worse, that's sure.

The broken hip can be a broken femur. No surgery? Hopefully it's just a fissure and you're prescribed some rest. Best wishes, Ken. And a hug :D

Thanks all.  I'm home.  The facts that I can only use my left arm (limited on the right to lifting, pushing, etc, 10 lbs max) and that I shamble round like a 100 year old man, means that everything here happens very slowly.  At least I'm home.

It turns out I don't have a broken femur, but rather a broken acetabulum.  At least all my breaks are non-surgical.

Gotta go feed my animals.  This normally takes about 10 minutes but will probably take an hour.

Are you forbidden to charge weight on that damaged hip? Do you use crutches? Oh well, Ken, it might have been way worse, but still it sucks. I'm glad you're home. Take care and get well :)
