Salt Peanuts
Went out to a movie and lunch with my wife without our daughter. This was the first time I've seen a movie in a theater in three years - it was nice.
blessingx
Speaking of just went to Diaper Days at the local cinema. 70 adults, 100 baby/toddlers, 15 combined watching the film (Madagascar 3) - a new definition of chaos. Also waited at home for GFs Mother's Day (her first) gift to finally arrive - a Carroll Farm table. Turned out better than I expected. Voltron
Beautiful table, Ric. Hope she loves it.
skullguise
Yes, very nice table; how comfy is that chair, looks quite funky! Me: replaced my mother's computer, family tech guy strikes again. Now to see if her old one will take Windows 7.....
The Monkey
Being family tech guy is slowly driving me insane.
skullguise
Been there and past, Dinny. I loved the days when my sister would ask for help, but still try to impress me with her technical acumen: "I think my hard drive needs more RAM"
Salt Peanuts
^ Funny. Reminds me of folks at work who still calls the actual computer "hard drive."
acidbasement
We're finally into calving season, and as I was checking on progress I noticed this beauty. Sorry for the crappy photo quality. I'm pretty sure it's an oyster mushroom. I harvested it, and will hopefully get to eat it once I rule out any toxic species. It weighs two pounds. NightWoundsTime
I worked, and then I brewed. Good day except for the excessive heat throughout. Can't sleep but I'm certainly dehyrdrated. Fixing that now.
blessingx
Thanks Al and Shelly. Mel loves it. Yes, very nice table; how comfy is that chair, looks quite funky! The chair is a Pallone knockoff I picked up off Craigslist. Very comfy and I really dig it, but not very practical for the majority of uses (including this one). Still I hope never to part with. manaox2
I finished setting up my new bedroom into the morning hours and now I'm off to have my quad of wisdom teeth removed. Not too looking forward to today.

Not too looking forward to today. oof. Make sure you are adequately supplied with painkillers. I had mine out when I was 21 and it actually wasn't too bad, but it certainly wasn't fun. Good luck. manaox2
Update. Pain hadn't set in yet, still numb. I think the staff were a little surprised at how alert I was after sedation. I'm going to try not to bear the full bring of this pain if at all possible.
acidbasement
All four at once? That's brutal. My dentist just took two at a time, so I always had one good side of my mouth. I found the pain started to recede by the third day. I took Ibuprofen for 5 days or so, and that took the edge off nicely. Happy healing. Aimless1
Had all 4 wisdom teeth pulled at the same time. Took one Motrin 800mg, then nothing there after. What helped the most was the oil of cloves. I was fine the next day.
Dreadhead
I did all 4 but I went under full anesthetic because I have a history of responding poorly to local (one surgery with all the pain was enough).
Dusty Chalk
Its fucking HOT outside.Seriously. My mother is getting out of the hospital today and I can't be bothered to step foot outdoors.
