As long as you can provide proof of ownership, they'll unlock your car for a nominal fee. Almost always cheaper than a locksmith. Cops will generally do it free, but on their time frame. I have always been a fan of carrying an extra door key in my wallet. I thought slim jims don't work on most cars these days?

blessingx Posted September 10, 2020 Report Posted September 10, 2020 Adding to the apocalypse documentation. Approaching noon in Mtn View. Was brighter after sunset. Keeping on eye out for boils tomorrow. 8
Dusty Chalk Posted September 10, 2020 Report Posted September 10, 2020 They should have used “The Red Weed” from Jeff Wayne’s musical adaptation of War of the Worlds.

swt61 Posted September 10, 2020 Report Posted September 10, 2020 (edited) My theory is that Trump has ordered his spray tan dumped in the upper atmosphere. Hoping that it turns California residents Orange, in a false show of unity. Edited September 10, 2020 by swt61 2 3

blessingx Posted September 10, 2020 Report Posted September 10, 2020 It still has those freaky moving rocks. 1
swt61 Posted September 10, 2020 Report Posted September 10, 2020 I think they move slow enough to easily get out of the way.
blessingx Posted September 10, 2020 Report Posted September 10, 2020 True, though we're all getting older. 1
Dusty Chalk Posted September 10, 2020 Report Posted September 10, 2020 Any of you West Coasters got recommendations for air filters? I know Grm got that car one. Anything for indoors or are the built-in ones adequate? What about masks? Asking for multiple friends and one sister.
robm321 Posted September 10, 2020 Report Posted September 10, 2020 The Winix 5500 seems to be the best bang for your buck. But this is Head-Case, so I'll shut up. 1
Dusty Chalk Posted September 11, 2020 Report Posted September 11, 2020 Plus it comes in black! I will forward the suggestion, thanks! 1

They are cheap silent so get multiples to spread around your crib. For masks look for three layer cotton preferably with pockets to allow for insertion of non woven poly propylene fabric (Etsy, Admathagifts). As for locust hords and boils I recommend Ortho Home Defense Max and a topical steroid cream. 5
Augsburger Posted September 12, 2020 Report Posted September 12, 2020 For reference, this was my view on August 19 Similar view just now Needless to say, no bike ride this morning.
blessingx Posted September 12, 2020 Report Posted September 12, 2020 Wouldn't it be like biking on Krypton, then when the clean air came back... 1
MexicanDragon Posted September 12, 2020 Report Posted September 12, 2020 My backyard Yeah... This isn't great.
