I should have the pathology report in a couple days, which I'm interested in seeing. 5

kevin gilmore Posted August 23, 2018 Report Posted August 23, 2018 if they used dermabond to glue you back together, most of that will disappear. If they sewed you up, it will look that way for a very long time. 1
EdipisReks1 Posted August 23, 2018 Report Posted August 23, 2018 They used dermabond. That's good to hear, thank you KG.
Grahame Posted August 23, 2018 Report Posted August 23, 2018 So your appeal to scar digging chicks is temporary? 1

ironbut Posted August 23, 2018 Report Posted August 23, 2018 Fingers crossed on the labs Jacob. In case you don't like the scar, you can look forward to the point in your life when everything starts to sag and it'll just look like another row of wrinkles (like the point that I'm currently in). Whoopie!
Craig Sawyers Posted August 24, 2018 Report Posted August 24, 2018 Looking good! Any post op shit to deal with?
CD44hi Posted August 24, 2018 Report Posted August 24, 2018 Heal fast Jacob and hoping for the best outcome!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Dangerous stuff, which in a procedure like yours isn't really necessary, you're a tough guy. I had some rather bad pain this morning that Tylenol didn’t help much with. Unfortunately I’m opiate resistant, so they don’t help that much either, but a little bit (I just took half a Vicodin at 8, and Tylenol mid-afternoon).
Torpedo Posted August 24, 2018 Report Posted August 24, 2018 There are mid-level drugs between Tylenol and opioids which might be helpful. Don't trust that thing of "opiate resistant", who diagnosed that?
EdipisReks1 Posted August 27, 2018 Report Posted August 27, 2018 Well, my incision seems to be infected, but I'm finally starting to lose the steroid + IV weight. Opiates not helping with bone pain and then opiates not helping much with vasectomy pain is what diagnosed it. I was on opiates for months, with my leg. I'm not taking any more for my neck, now, and I have about a month's supply left. That is what I think creates addiction, here in the USA. 2
EdipisReks1 Posted August 29, 2018 Report Posted August 29, 2018 I found out today that I'm "probably cured" of cancer. That's not as good as "cured," but much better than "probably not cured." There is a possibility that I'll need a course of radiation in 6 months, but my doctor thought it unlikely. So, all in all, good news! When do I get my ribbon? 14
Torpedo Posted August 30, 2018 Report Posted August 30, 2018 I wouldn't undergo any radiation without removing first the half thyroid gland you have left

Torpedo Posted August 31, 2018 Report Posted August 31, 2018 I hope so. On both accounts, being an excellent doctor and removing the remaining thyroid
