Dusty Chalk
Sniffled, literally all day -- couldn't even get to sleep because I was -- er, TMI: ...mucusating so much that I had to get up every hour or so to blow my nose. I am actually a little dehydrated right now, as a result. Fuck, I hate allergies.
jvlgato
Agreed. I just started allergy shots a month or two ago because I can't take it any more. Especially after last year when I almost lost hearing out of my left ear. Granted, that was also due to the labyrinthitis, but the blocked up Eustachian tube didn't help. At all. Probably started too late to help for this year, but very hopeful for helping for next year, as this season already seems to not be as bad as last year. I actually made the first appointment late last summer but didn't start shots until Feb. Stupid American health care system!
Augsburger
I just started daily Zyrtec and Neilmed nasal wash routines. We have had very aggravating Santa Ana wind conditions recently but so far so good. I will need to be real aggressive this year since we are having these weird environmental phenomena know as "rain" and it is causing all the pollen generating green things to bloom and release California's version of fairy dust. Oh, and snake season started last weekend, so stay tuned for pictures.

Augsburger
A great evening of fencing. Lance fenced the former Russian Federation womens foil team member, World Champion and European Champion...he did not win.
oogabooga
Prepared for my university's 'annual power shutdown' happening tomorrow. The critical stuff we can't unplug goes on diesel generator backup... (i.e. crappy and surge-y power), and in two days, I find out what didn't survive! grawk
every datacenter I've ever been in, generator power is the best you're going to get.
skullguise
I usually get up before my wife in the mornings. Go into the bedroom today, she's up and looking a bit down..... "Morning....what's the matter?" "...my toilet's clogged, the wi-fi is down, and even cellular data doesn't work...." Maslow's updated hierarchy rings true....
909
About 30 mintues ago, I just high fived Paul McCartney. He looked at my George Harrison t-shirt as he walked by and said cool... I've been wanting to meet him since I've been about seven or eight years old. BTW, his hands are girly soft. https://www.facebook.com/mr.russomanno/posts/1325374807478189?notif_t=like¬if_id=1462055330460450
Craig Sawyers
That is awesomer than my anecdote for the night. Went to see Amanda McBroom http://amcbroom.com/ this evening in London. Been listening to her music for decades. I went and said hello afterwards and got a cuddle. Seventh heaven! But McCartney - wow!

acidbasement
I worked on Eleanor's 31st birthday present today. It's a beefy garden shed made almost entirely of reclaimed materials, and I think I'll get the roof finished tomorrow. She'll be 35 this year, so it's about time I wrapped it up.

Augsburger
Thursday Lance fenced the former Russian Federation women's foil team member, and European Champion. Yesterday Lance fenced the University of California, Santa Barbara open foil tournament. The tournament consisted mostly of college students and adult fencers yet Lance took first place/gold medal. It was a good day. Edited May 2, 2016 by Augsburger Disco is my life.
