Dusty Chalk Posted May 29, 2014 Report Posted May 29, 2014 So far it's been about 50/50 Fairview Park/Woodbridge, but there's talk of moving the Fairview Park portion to Chantilly. Lollers @ "sent from my nerd phone" -- awesome. Quote
Dusty Chalk Posted May 30, 2014 Report Posted May 30, 2014 It's been a good week, so far. Jeff -- I'll be 100% in Fairview Park starting next week until I get a fob I need to be able to VPN from home. So if you want to do anything next week, feel free to text me. Quote
Nebby Posted May 30, 2014 Report Posted May 30, 2014 Congrats Dusty! Glad to hear it worked out for you As for me, I did the bike to work thing this morning and found a route that worked fairly well. I think I'm going to make it my standard commute. 1 Quote
bhjazz Posted May 31, 2014 Report Posted May 31, 2014 Great news on new jobs. That's always fun. Well, I hope it is, anyway. I finished a four day class on Spring Core. Spring is a dev framework that works with Java. I had read some tech books prior to the class, but crap, I had no idea how much meat I wasn't getting in the books. Geez. It was awesome. Hopefully I'll get to use it a lot...I suppose that part is up to me. Quote
Salt Peanuts Posted May 31, 2014 Report Posted May 31, 2014 Took our daughter to a Field Day even at a local farm for picnic. They had bunch of different things for kids - pony ride, ice cream, local soda/juice, flower planting (to take home), etc. Much to our surprise, everything was free. 3 Quote
blessingx Posted June 7, 2014 Report Posted June 7, 2014 Took the day off, stalled at my favorite Mexican restaurant for a bit, then signed a home loan and went in debt. 6 Quote

Aimless1 Posted June 7, 2014 Report Posted June 7, 2014 Up at the campground and the golf cart ran out of gas, battery dead on the car and then low pressure in one of the car tires. On the way to the local farmers market I realize today is Karyl's birthday and I hadn't done any thing. Local jeweler sells his own creations so I take her there and amazingly enough she found something she liked. From goat to hero and she thinks I had this planned all along. I'm not going out of my way to convince her otherwise. 4 Quote
