agile_one Posted February 7, 2013 Report Posted February 7, 2013 Quite the coincidence, Tom ... I love the Ford GT (white with blue racing stripes), too, and remember well the days when they were the Ferrari killer to be feared.
bozebuttons Posted February 7, 2013 Report Posted February 7, 2013 (edited) Here are some pics of the car Edited February 7, 2013 by bozebuttons
Nanoha Posted February 7, 2013 Report Posted February 7, 2013 Nice! Jealous, Tom. The GTR is expensive, but still a screaming bargain in the performance per dollar. GT-R is great in my opinion as well. It was a tremendous bargain for the performance when it first arrived in 2008 at a MSRP of $69,850. It's somewhat unfortunate that the a new GT-R is now $99,950 ($30k higher!). For those who want new, it's not as much of a deal as it was before but the performance per dollar is still respectable. A used GT-R is a great though!
bozebuttons Posted February 8, 2013 Report Posted February 8, 2013 Quite the coincidence, Tom ... I love the Ford GT (white with blue racing stripes), too, and remember well the days when they were the Ferrari killer to be feared. White with blue stripes is my choice as well,A couple of years ago I was picking up parts at mercedes & they had a white gt with blue stirpes in front for sale for 160k was new never registered.I had all I could do to stop drooling on it.

Wmcmanus Posted February 8, 2013 Report Posted February 8, 2013 Jean, I agree the perfomance is up there with the best...I think he's the other kind of Gene, Tom... although he might look nice in a dress! That's an amazing car. You won't be disappointed if you decide to go for it.
Dusty Chalk Posted February 8, 2013 Report Posted February 8, 2013 its about 800ft across the street from my apt Jealous -- I've often fantasized about being able to fall out of bed and go to work, neither rain nor sleet nor hail nor snow, etc.
justin Posted February 8, 2013 Report Posted February 8, 2013 that's 800ft further than i am right now but i need a place that "strangers" can go to and also work.
Fitz Posted February 8, 2013 Report Posted February 8, 2013 Speaking of the GT-R, I just so happened to get one for xmas... 1

Bigguy Posted February 9, 2013 Report Posted February 9, 2013 Justin, will that be big enough to hold all chinese child laborers you will need to build all those amps?
Dusty Chalk Posted February 9, 2013 Report Posted February 9, 2013 Opened a twitter account -- @TheDustyChalk (someone took @DustyChalk, the fucker) -- I don't intend to be active, but it was a required field in a Kickstarter reward. that's 800ft further than i am right now but i need a place that "strangers" can go to and also work. Wait, isn't that called "China"? And working from home doesn't count -- I'm not envious of those people for some reason. It's the 800 ft. thing that I'm jealous of. 1
CarlSeibert Posted February 9, 2013 Report Posted February 9, 2013 I almost never tweet, but I find Twitter immensely useful for keeping up with news organizations and the like. I use the Twitter function in Trillian on my work computer.
justin Posted February 9, 2013 Report Posted February 9, 2013 This made me laugh. CNN found the most stereotypical New England person to interview about the blizzard Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Salt Peanuts Posted February 9, 2013 Report Posted February 9, 2013 (edited) I woke up to my daughter calling me from her bedroom, who then proceeded to throw up. Thankfully, she doesn't seem to be in much discomfort/pain, though definitely has a fever and horrible cough. Edited February 9, 2013 by Salt Peanuts
skullguise Posted February 9, 2013 Report Posted February 9, 2013 Ugh, sorry to hear that Haj. Too much "stuff" going around. Hope she feel better soon, and the family avoids it.....
