skullguise Posted February 29, 2012 Report Posted February 29, 2012 (edited) Shelleyan Orphan - We Have Everything We Need. This quirky art-pop group reunited in mid-2000's for this album, didn't even know it existed until this year. Been listening a lot recently, growing on me quite a bit. Carolyn Crawley's voice is frail and strong all at once.... Edited February 29, 2012 by skullguise Quote

TMoney Posted March 1, 2012 Report Posted March 1, 2012 What an album. Stevie Nicks is a superstar, no doubt, but give me Chris McVie and her smokey alto voice singing with a minimalist arrangement any day. Quote
pigmode Posted March 1, 2012 Report Posted March 1, 2012 Up late tonight. These occupy two very different corners of fusion, and not much loved these days, I know. I remember having these on copy after copy of self-destructo 8-tracks. I loved Wayne Shorter's tenure with Weather Report--he was so brilliant and soulful on the cuts Gibralter, Cannnonball. Playing now: Watermelon Man. Quote
