I lover her voice. Edited October 13, 2011 by Spychedelic Whale
Knuckledragger Posted October 13, 2011 Report Posted October 13, 2011 Ghost Cauldron - See What I've Become (Superpitcher Mixes) (2004) After suffering with a crappy 192K mp3 vinyl rip I got off slsk 7+ years ago, Juno Download finally answered my call and put this obscure-but-wonderful release online. $7 for the whole thing in FLAC, which is a damn sight cheaper than buying the record and paying shipping from Germany (and hoping that the idiot post office won't fold it in half like they did last time) and digitizing it myself.
Augsburger Posted October 14, 2011 Report Posted October 14, 2011 Ornette Coleman, Sound Grammer. WTF??? I don't like this free form mish mash stuff.
LFF Posted October 15, 2011 Report Posted October 15, 2011 Ornette Coleman, Sound Grammer. WTF??? I don't like this free form mish mash stuff. Same here. Free form is an acquired taste I guess. I've never been able to get it.

skullguise Posted October 15, 2011 Report Posted October 15, 2011 Peter Hook and the Light - Live in Australia. "NOS" Joy Division. The mix is done well, and the music is great.
Voltron Posted October 16, 2011 Author Report Posted October 16, 2011 Joe Strummer & the Mescaleros -- Streetcore
Leonardo Drummond Posted October 17, 2011 Report Posted October 17, 2011 Animals as Leaders - Weightless Not sure if you guys know this band, but it's really great. In fact, it's one of the few heavy artists I still regularly listen to. This new album, Weightless, just leaked and it's fantastic! Voltron Posted October 18, 2011 Author Report Posted October 18, 2011 (edited) Peter Hook and the Light - Live in Australia. "NOS" Joy Division. The mix is done well, and the music is great. I tried listening to this, Todd, and the vocals were a big hangup for me. Peter doesn't have the same feel as Ian, but I am sure it was more fun live. My Brightest Diamond -- All Things Will Unwind Unfortunate cover, imo, especially given the other ones that were really well done. Edited October 18, 2011 by Voltron
Voltron Posted October 19, 2011 Author Report Posted October 19, 2011 Similar cover art, but it works better for Bjork.

Hopstretch Posted October 20, 2011 Report Posted October 20, 2011 Iron And Wine -- The Shepherd's Dog
Voltron Posted October 20, 2011 Author Report Posted October 20, 2011 ^Nice. Not my favorite, but always soothing to listen to I&W. Honey Ear Trio -- Steampunk Serenade Free streaming from this cool site: http://honeyeartrio.bandcamp.com/
robm321 Posted October 22, 2011 Report Posted October 22, 2011 Al Di Meola - Pursuit of Radical Rhapsody Another rich one by Di Meola. He never stops innovating.
CherryBomb Posted October 22, 2011 Report Posted October 22, 2011 (edited) Furtwangler, Beethoven's 9th (recorded during WW2), SACD by Tahra Edited October 22, 2011 by CherryBomb
LFF Posted October 22, 2011 Report Posted October 22, 2011 Seth MacFarlane My favorite album of the year thus far. They went through a lot of trouble to get the sound "right" but screwed it up in the mastering. That said, it remasters beautifully!
