And thanks for reminding me, I was listening to an old podcast the other day of Rachel Portman (score composer), and it was mentioned that she's working on a solo album, and now that album is a thing of the past, so I can listen to it now.  Spoiler alert:  it's pretty nostalgic sounding, would fit right in with Joe Hisaishi's work:

So, I listened to this earlier. 

I really enjoyed it - had a very Laurel Canyon feel to it. 

So, I listened to the new Album. And didn't like it as much. It is good. But I feel that it was a bit over produced and does not highlight her singing as much as the stripped down version gives.
