mypasswordis Posted July 1, 2011 Report Posted July 1, 2011 (edited) Symphony X - Iconoclast ^ this Intredasting... Edit: Nvm, not intredasting. Switched to tried and true classic: Edited July 1, 2011 by mypasswordis
Dusty Chalk Posted July 1, 2011 Report Posted July 1, 2011 Leaves' Eyes, Meredead -- wow, either I haven't been paying attention, or this is a real departure for them. Really strong Celtic feel, with a full on cover of Mike Oldfield's "To France": ...as well as other folkish instruments and influences. I'm kind of really liking it. Despite having doffed quite a bit of their goth leanings. Ya-rly, I know, right?
elnero Posted July 1, 2011 Report Posted July 1, 2011 Some new laid back instrumental goodness Judd Madden - Float
Torpedo Posted July 1, 2011 Report Posted July 1, 2011 The Gathering - How to Measure a Planet? Anneke Van Giersbergen's voice
Dusty Chalk Posted July 1, 2011 Report Posted July 1, 2011 Still my favorite album by them -- good call.

livewire Posted July 4, 2011 Report Posted July 4, 2011 Pink Floyd - The Division Bell Faves: Track #4 "Marooned & Track #10 "Lost For Words"
Dusty Chalk Posted July 4, 2011 Report Posted July 4, 2011 Marooned is awesome, it didn't win the Grammy for nothing.
livewire Posted July 5, 2011 Report Posted July 5, 2011 I didnt know it won a Grammy? I wasnt into PF at that point in time. I was before, in the DSOM & The Wall phases. Now I've been coming back to my roots (and then some).
Dusty Chalk Posted July 5, 2011 Report Posted July 5, 2011 I didnt know it won a Grammy? Yeah, best rock instrumental performance for that year or something. I actually really adore A Momentary Lapse of Reason. You should revisit that one as well.
livewire Posted July 5, 2011 Report Posted July 5, 2011 (edited) My teenage kid turned me on to this catchy pop tune. It's worth a listen. Edited July 5, 2011 by livewire
