I've been listening to all kinds of music today, but currently listening to Donna Summers - On the Radio.  It's making me laugh.  Good classic disco :D

There will be no laughing!

My people take our native music very serious. And Queen Summer shall be referred to as Her Royal Highness, may she rest in peace.

Lollers, my eyes went straight to the girl...or crossdresser, or whatever that is...looks like a girl to me...are you sure that's a gay club?  Or perhaps they're just looking for good dance partners...

A fun take on the old staples. She tackles tempi like she spent a month bingeing on Glenn Gould recordings, and it works. This is not your daddy's Four Seasons.

Cowboy Junkies, Notes Falling Slow (ly...sic) -- goddamn, I love Cowboy Junkies, especially their slower numbers.  Reminds me of the desert and being able to breathe.  I could just rewind this to the beginning and...actually, I think I will.

I know what I am listening to tonight. Thanks, Dusty!

Lots of Mouettes mixed with Cowboy Junkies -- even though they're completely different, they mix well together.  Or maybe I'm just strange, because I also listened to Faust IV, Chainsuck, and Tomas Cotik.

I'm with you on Cowboy Junkies.  I am in major heart with The Caution Horses, not a bad song on it and my favorite of theirs.

I remember them appearing on David Letterman at that time, and he introduced them naming their new album The Cautious Horses....

Notes Falling Slow is basically the three albums starting with Open, my favourite period of theirs, plus bonus material that fits real well.  If you like this, you'd probably also like Devics.

Will put on Caution Horses.

I know exactly what you mean, and agree.

I inadvertantly created a slammin' stoner rock playlist on YouTube.  Was looking into a band that popped up on BandsInTown as someone I had previously designated as interested in (but did not remember why), and clicked the autoplay button.  Bunch of 16 minute jams, totally digging.  Here's the latest (there's even some clean tones towards the middle somewhere):

The original band was Freedom Hawk:

Also lots of 1000mods, whoever they are.
