Hopstretch Posted March 4, 2016 Report Posted March 4, 2016 Turin Brakes -- Lost Property I have such a weird affection for these guys. They just keep doing what they do.

Dusty Chalk Posted March 9, 2016 Report Posted March 9, 2016 The production on that album is outstanding. If you haven't seen Sound City, it is highly recommended. Me: Katatonia -- all the albums from Tonight's Decision through Sanctitude that's available on Tidal. In a mood, I guess. EDIT: Damn, Dead End Kings is surprisingly good.
aardvark baguette Posted March 10, 2016 Report Posted March 10, 2016 Third eye blind. I love this more now than I did in high school. Probably my favorite 90s album, currently. Every single song is good. 2
Hopstretch Posted March 10, 2016 Report Posted March 10, 2016 Totally agree. Can still remember the first time I heard "Semi-Charmed Life" -- was on an airplane on the in-flight entertainment channel and I listened through the whole loop just to catch it over again, something I'd never done before (or have done since). 2

It's like, stupidly expensive, but yeah, it was one of the defining albums of my teenage years. I should just go ahead and buy it to put with all the other unopened vinyl I have. **BRENT** Edit: NP: Edited March 10, 2016 by MexicanDragon 2

skullguise Posted March 11, 2016 Report Posted March 11, 2016 ^^ That's been trending on FB as well, VERY cool stuff! 1
Dusty Chalk Posted March 12, 2016 Report Posted March 12, 2016 (nods violently) I got addicted to it for a couple weeks last year, a day didn't go by I didn't listen to it at least once. Definitely one of the best my favourites of 2015.

Dusty Chalk Posted March 14, 2016 Report Posted March 14, 2016 I saw only the bottom little bit (~1/5?) of the above image...ew. I hate what my mind sees sometimes. 2 hours ago, Voltron said: 2012 Remasters Yeah, I was doing that (listening to old ELP in memorium) with the Pictures deluxe edition and Welcome Back My Friends...now back to Wishbone Ash, will probably listen to some Psycroptic (Colin, Iain, et al, check them out; Jeff, stay away) and some Riverside (also in memorium).
Mister X Posted March 16, 2016 Report Posted March 16, 2016 Covers done in varying musical styles actually kinda works.
Dusty Chalk Posted March 18, 2016 Report Posted March 18, 2016 Arjen Schat -- ambient/electronica (varies by album), very Berlin school without being a Tangerine Dream ripoff
Dusty Chalk Posted March 21, 2016 Report Posted March 21, 2016 Haelos, Full Circle -- seems familiar, and yet I'm digging it, RIYL The XX, Phantogram, Florence and the Machine, on the trip-hoppy side, groovy as...
tom_hankins Posted March 22, 2016 Report Posted March 22, 2016 Listening to the little silver round stuff. Van Morrison "Back on Track" Lyle Lovett "Joshua Judges Ruth" 1
