Hopstretch Posted October 11, 2015 Report Posted October 11, 2015 Rico Kiley -- More AdventurousMany good songs, not least A Man/Me/Then Jim, which I would have to say is one of my all timers. 1
dsavitsk Posted October 12, 2015 Report Posted October 12, 2015 Rico Kiley -- More AdventurousWe saw Jenny Lewis play at a weird old church in Chicago a few years ago -- one of the all time best shows I have seen. 1
Dusty Chalk Posted October 12, 2015 Report Posted October 12, 2015 Whoa, VII?!?!? I'm behind...(resolves to catch up)... 1
Aura Posted October 12, 2015 Report Posted October 12, 2015 I prefer their early stuff and overall wish this was better recorded (but that could be said of 95% of metal), but still.... \m/
Dusty Chalk Posted October 13, 2015 Report Posted October 13, 2015 I didn't realize it was out. I loved Soma and had been waiting for this to drop.Went back and listened to Soma -- yeah, that didn't suck, neither. I liked its patience a little better, but I prefer the more recent release's previously described balance. Also really dig John Grant's Gray Tickles, Black Pressure from NPR's First Listen -- really great contemporary alternative. 1

Dusty Chalk Posted October 16, 2015 Report Posted October 16, 2015 Redshift binge again.Knucks -- when that guy (?) said, "I could listen to arpeggios all night", he could just as easily have been talking about a large portion of Redshift's output.
