mikeymad Posted October 10, 2014 Report Posted October 10, 2014 Gregory Porter - 2012 - Be Good Be Good is so good...
Wmcmanus Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 (edited) Amazing new/final song released by Glen Campbell today, dealing with his fight with Alzheimer's. Reminds me of Johnny Cash's version of Hurt. You can read about it here:http://www.hngn.com/articles/45420/20141010/glen-campbell-s-heart-breaking-final-recording-i-m-not-gonna-miss-you-reveals-his-ongoing-battle-with-alzheimer-s-watch.htm Edited October 11, 2014 by Wmcmanus 1
skullguise Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 Wow......thanks for posting that Wayne. Nearly brought me to tears......
Wmcmanus Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 Wow......thanks for posting that Wayne. Nearly brought me to tears...... Yup, sad stuff. Like I said, it reminded me of Johnny Cash's "Hurt" video when he was near the end. Even more poignant, perhaps, was this gem from Warren when he was dying from cancer.
skullguise Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 Remember that, incredible as well. I had shown the Hurt video to a woman I work with, big fan. She WAS in tears.....
aardvark baguette Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 bad religion - against the grain
skullguise Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 Tony Bennet and Lady Gaga - Cheek To Cheek....or, 3 full songs and skimmed the rest.... Can you say sell out? And somewhat BAD sell out? Sorry Ms. Gaga, stick to your other crappy music.
skullguise Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 ^^^ That's on my list for today....how is it?
GrindingThud Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 Truly exceptional. The live version of Halla Troll (track 10 on the Japan special edition) is really really good.^^^ That's on my list for today....how is it?
mikeymad Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 Hmmm the walk to Costco was a little further than I thought Now relaxing to some smooth jazz on my small vinyl rig. George Benson and Earl Klugh 1
