Two bans that had a big impact on me when I wasn't even a snotty teenager yet:

Propaganda:

A Secret Wish

And Daryl Hall # John Oates:

Very Best Of Daryl Hall & John Oates: Hall & Oates: Amazon.es: CD y vinilos}

Don't laugh at me 🤣 butI remember watching this video over and over again, I thought Daryl in that leopard skin suit was super cool... (yes, I also freaked out about Sonny Crockett and Miami Vice)

^^^ LOVE Propaganda!  The 2 original female singers are in a new band, xPropaganda; they have a new album out (as well as Claudia having done a good amount of solo stuff as well as under the band name Act).

Interestingly, the two male members are coming out in October with a new album under the Propaganda name.  A single is already out.  Seems interesting, but most of the albums that any of them have done outside the line-up from that album (maybe excluding Act's one album) have not been as enjoyable for me personally.

I'm listening to Propaganda's A Secret Wish right now!

They also have an interesting remix album called Wishful Thinking that you've probably heard as well.

I was just about to put on some Hall & Oates. Great minds think alike.

A bit unsure asking about X-Propaganda led by women in their sixties or even seventies...

😄   Actually not too bad though!  But still not as good for me as the original album/group.

I, too, would like to declare my love of A Secret Wish and Wishful Thinking.  I think I will give those a relisten as well.

I mean, it is that classic late 80's synth-pop sound, and that ridiculously interesting-sounding Synclavier experimentation...

The The, Ensoulment

Still pulling no punches, just an ace fucking songwriter

Fills the void left by Roger Waters, who has become so full of himself, he's disappeared up his own asshole and come back out the other side as a Gerald Scarfe caricature of himself.
