TMoney Posted December 6, 2023 Report Posted December 6, 2023 Glad for her fans. For the rest of us who are agnostic, hope we see a bit less of her in 2024. It has been suffocating, to say the least. 3 1

robm321 Posted December 8, 2023 Report Posted December 8, 2023 (edited) Neck Deep - Life's Not Out To Get You Glad I found this one. Every song is tasteful and fiery. It's classified as "pop punk" which is pretty accurate. It's kind of like Paramore... but better? ex: (I spy Voltron) Edited December 8, 2023 by robm321 2
mikeymad Posted December 10, 2023 Report Posted December 10, 2023 Tales: Live in Copenhagen 1964 (Live) Bill Evans 2023 https://album.link/i/1715457640 Example: Great Sunday listen. It almost just sounds like live in the studio (no audience for the first 6 tracks). So I did some research. 1-6 recorded at Radiohuset, Copenhagen, August 10, 1964 7-10 recorded at TV-City, Copenhagen, August 25, 1964 11 recorded at Stakladen, Aarhus, Denmark, November 21, 1969. The recording of the second half of the album is still good, just not as great as the first 6. But it seems that Bill was really in a nice groove in 64 and these tracks are a lot of fun. 8
mikeymad Posted December 10, 2023 Report Posted December 10, 2023 Okay Speaking of 1964 Speaking of Live Speaking of Jazz Trio Con Alma: The Oscar Peterson Trio – Live in Lugano, 1964 Oscar Peterson 2023 https://album.link/i/1702942233 Example: Now these are examples of good archive recordings. Well recorded, great performances and so fun. So many other unreleased live performances are unreleased for a reason. This does not seem to suffer from that. I also enjoy the 'album' format. 6 tracks - 43 minutes. I don't always need the ultimate complete recordings with 74 tracks and 8 hour runtime. {opens TIDAL and searches for '1964 live'} 6
swt61 Posted December 13, 2023 Report Posted December 13, 2023 Many say it's the greatest Country song of all time. It's certainly up there for me. They don't talk about how it took the 'Possum' 18 months to record it due to not being able to stay sober long enough. 5
swt61 Posted December 13, 2023 Report Posted December 13, 2023 My Mother's favorite song of all time. A favorite of mine as well. 3
mikeymad Posted December 14, 2023 Report Posted December 14, 2023 CLOSURE / CONTINUATION. LIVE. AMSTERDAM 07/11/22 Porcupine Tree 2023 https://album.link/i/1714270546 Example: New Porcupine Tree live album? Yes please. Well recorded, and a good performance, considering it was a single show. I have been lax in my Tree listening as of late. TIDAL queue is just too long sometimes. But this was a welcome treat. 1
