mikeymad Posted April 26, 2022 Report Posted April 26, 2022 Live From the Ryman And More Sheryl Crow 2021 https://album.link/i/1568134877 Example: I had never seen her perform live, and I don't know why. The songs that I like, I really like. Voice and performance very strong. And overall a good recording. It has a Tom Petty jam session vibe - maybe shared a lot of performers. 6

She was pretty much outside my radar until then and I have to say she seems like a decent person and a beautiful voice. I'll also say sheltering in place, so having her kids be crew/tech support, has its ah downsides. Well, most of the songs were heard anyway. 😜 9
TMoney Posted April 26, 2022 Report Posted April 26, 2022 (edited) Yes, I have shameful tastes. That being said, I'm enjoying these pop punk albums. Keep 'em coming! The sign of a solid album to me is if, after playing it, I want to throw it in to my regular rotation for a while. This one is a nice surprise. Edited April 27, 2022 by TMoney 2
swt61 Posted April 27, 2022 Report Posted April 27, 2022 I like Avril and I have great taste, so there's that. 😁 1 1

MoonShine Posted April 28, 2022 Report Posted April 28, 2022 (edited) These Elac's are making me smile They may be small but they're kinda HUNG (while also sporting some big juicy bass balls). Zero buyer's remorse here. Edited April 28, 2022 by MoonShine 4
TMoney Posted April 29, 2022 Report Posted April 29, 2022 (edited) Ladies & Gentlemen - The Rolling Stones Live album from the Exile Tour. I still think Mick Taylor was the best lead guitar player they've ever had. Edited April 29, 2022 by TMoney 1
Dusty Chalk Posted April 30, 2022 Report Posted April 30, 2022 Dusty does not hate jazz. Happy (belated) International Jazz Day, fans of the genre! I'm listening to this right now: My girl, Hiromi, will be on there later. 2 1

TMoney Posted May 4, 2022 Report Posted May 4, 2022 (edited) Fleetwood Mac - Tusk (Deluxe Edition) The demo versions of the songs on this deluxe edition are fun, but I'm loving the live tracks from the Tusk Tour in '79 and '80 the most. These polished studio gems sound a little rougher and a little livelier in a concert setting. https://music.apple.com/us/album/tusk-deluxe-edition/1052398476 Edited May 4, 2022 by TMoney 4

TMoney Posted May 6, 2022 Report Posted May 6, 2022 Arcade Fire - We Oh hell yes! These guys are one of my favorites. I can't wait to see the tour this fall.
Torpedo Posted May 7, 2022 Report Posted May 7, 2022 For reasons that may seem rather obvious, I've always felt that the Bill Evans saxophonist wasn't worth much attention. However my guitar teacher suggested that I should listen some of his. I'm doing, and I'm rather surprised 3
