Augsburger Posted April 1, 2021 Report Posted April 1, 2021 One of my favorites. Side note, Bon Jovi's son attended Notre Dame the same time as Emily and asked to be on Emily's group for their American Signing class knowing that partnering with Emily it was a guaranteed A. Needless to say, Jesse got his A. 😁 Quote

skullguise Posted April 2, 2021 Report Posted April 2, 2021 ^^ they are a fun and usually good-sounding listen overall! I was selling some speakers a few months ago and used some of their songs (Coffee was a big hit) to help make the sale..... 1 Quote

Yeah I'm a sucker for electropop and I like folk music too so definitely love them a lot. Oh Wonder kinda fits the same vein. It is always interesting to see what recordings scale well with good gear... definitely some pleasant surprises as well as disappointments. I went through their first album after listening to the live EP and it also sounds very, very good. Coffee is my favorite song of theirs 😜 Though Die Young has crept up as well! 1 Quote

Icarium Posted April 4, 2021 Report Posted April 4, 2021 Weather Station's vocalists coat kinda makes me weak kneed whenever I see her in it 😜 Like if Issey Miyake did set design for a Blade Runner movie. Always down for a triple J cover. 1 Quote
