HiWire Posted March 3, 2020 Report Posted March 3, 2020 Love This Giant Great album... turned the volume up a bit and I'm loving it. I do think David Byrne added a lot of warmth and humanity to Annie Clark's signature cold, brilliant style of music. I hope they do another album together soon. 6 Quote

jose Posted March 3, 2020 Report Posted March 3, 2020 (edited) First: Always great, Simon & Garfunkel "Wednesday Morning 3 a.m" Then (About "the Sound of Silence) Disturbed "Immortalized" IMO I prefer the original Simon & Garfunkel... Edit: I don't know why but I love listening to Simon & Garfunkel in my old Lambda Pro. Their voices sound wonderful Edited March 3, 2020 by jose 6 Quote

Hopstretch Posted March 8, 2020 Report Posted March 8, 2020 Finally found a good link to the full two-hour Cure set at Glastonbury last year. Obviously highly recommended if you have the time. Imagine having this catalog to rip through? 4 Quote

ironbut Posted March 11, 2020 Report Posted March 11, 2020 (edited) Bob looks and sound exactly like he did when I visited his studio a decade ago in San Rafael. Great to hear Don Was too. I see him around the Monterey Jazz Festival all the time (he's the head of Blue Note Records). Gotta admit getting goosebumps with Ripple! Edited March 11, 2020 by ironbut 1 Quote
Dusty Chalk Posted March 12, 2020 Report Posted March 12, 2020 Delightfully weird stage presentation, too bad I can't watch it, will watch later, right now just listening: RIYL Katatonia (musically) Quote
