You're playin' some of my fav's today Mikey!

Thanks!

Cheers Steve,

The Miles comes from the great box set from a while ago.. Nice quiet heavy vinyl set - even though I found one flaw on the second track of Workin' (pressing issue), but the rest of the set is perfect.

Evening metal (ish) -- Chelsea Wolfe...lots and lots of Chelsea Wolfe...

Lots of Chelsea Wolfe here too lately. And Zola Jesus... Okovi is stunning and has been in heavy rotation.

Stuck on Chelsea Wolfe -- I originally discovered The Abyss, but now I've developed a love of Pain is Beauty and Apokalypsis especially (but all her albums, just especially those two), after this video made me check out Pain is Beauty which led into Apokalypsis (via YouTube autoplay):

...and Hiss Spun has made it into my top albums of last year.

Found out she's opening for Ministry in April...I might have to go to that.

One to recommend to a few in the crowd:  Joana Serrat - Dripping Springs.  Kind of ethereal country pop, with a twist of Mazzy Star thrown in.

Thanks for the recommendation.  This is great.
