MexicanDragon Posted October 31, 2015 Report Posted October 31, 2015 dropbox. A friend got me into Grisman years ago back when everyone had PCDPs and CDs at work. I should listen to that tomorrow.**BRENT** Quote
Dusty Chalk Posted November 2, 2015 Report Posted November 2, 2015 I have no idea what that is, but I have to listen to it, just based on the art.Me: Gazpacho, Molok -- these guys are just pumping out winner after winner -- didn't they just release Demon last year? Dynamic, clean vocals, proggy. Gets pretty croony. Quote
luvdunhill Posted November 4, 2015 Report Posted November 4, 2015 These were just released Sept. 18th and immediately sold out at most of the big sellers like Amazon.I believe the only overlap might be with the CD 10: Marcel Dupré - Saint-Saëns Organ Symphony since it features the Detroit Sym w/Paray.Tom seems to think that cd turned out particularly well in the Dupre set. Purchased. Thanks! Quote
Torpedo Posted November 4, 2015 Report Posted November 4, 2015 Looks like the guy didn't really get the idea of chipmunk voice Quote
skullguise Posted November 4, 2015 Report Posted November 4, 2015 Actually, I kind of like it.... Stoner rock meets chipmunk pop! Quote
Dusty Chalk Posted November 5, 2015 Report Posted November 5, 2015 (edited) Looks like the guy didn't really get the idea of chipmunk voice The whole point was to un-chipmunk-ify the chipmunk'ed voices, so not sure what he's missing.I'm listening to :Miley Cyrus, "When I Look at You"Temptations, "Ain't No Sunshine"Idina Menzel, "Let it Go"and Redshift, "Bloom"...paulstretched. I'm going to have to go through "Once More With Feeling" on Paulstretch. I almost never get tired of this. I find it works best with songs with minimal percussion. I'm going to have to try "If I Were Going" (Afghan Whigs) next. Edited November 5, 2015 by Dusty Chalk Quote
shellylh Posted November 5, 2015 Report Posted November 5, 2015 Sylvan Esso - Sylvan Esso Found out about them while at Austin City Limits and really enjoyed their show. Quote
Dusty Chalk Posted November 5, 2015 Report Posted November 5, 2015 (edited) Moar paulstretched: Jimi, "Little Wing", Synergy, "Legacy", "Slaughter on Tenth Avenue", "Warriors", and "Sequence 14". "Ain't No Sunshine" got restarted multiple times -- it's an hour long! Extra haunting... Edited November 5, 2015 by Dusty Chalk Quote
