Wmcmanus Posted March 3, 2012 Report Posted March 3, 2012 (edited) Wcmanus in Tampa??? I wish! My knees are way too gone for that, and I don't think I could have done those moves as a teenager. My beard is gone as well, although it's slowly growing back. Will take years to get to that length. Edited March 3, 2012 by Wmcmanus

screaming oranges Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 A polychaete worm. It is a marine worm. I've spent most of the evening reading up on these creatures. Here is an interesting article about a freaky event concerning one of these: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-1165930/Barry-giant-sea-worm-discovered-aquarium-staff-mysterious-attacks-coral-reef.html
screaming oranges Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 more research led me to a centipede... um, just watch the video:
Wmcmanus Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 (edited) What is that colorful bug thing up there? What is it? He was also Gale Sayers in Brian's Song. Just watched it again the other night for the first time since I was about 12 years old. Cried my eyes out again. Edit: Meant to quote Grawk re: Billy Dee Williams Edited March 4, 2012 by Wmcmanus

catscratch Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 Cool worm. You can find these all over the NJ seaside though of a smaller variety. Polychaetes are amazingly diverse and can be amazingly pretty as well, though the usual reaction from people is still "kill it with fire."
