This looks like a pretty effective solution. I have to set my clock way early because I mash the snooze button for an hour, sometimes even managing to turn the alarm clock off completely without waking up. Of course with the thumbtacks I'd probably learn to grab a shoe and use that to hit the clock instead of my hand.

Fitz, might I recommend a spider cage with an electric door hooked up to your alarm clock. When the alarm goes off the door to the spider cage opens and the tarantula is free to roam.

Should work from day one at getting you up on time. afro.gif

my current clock allows me to hit the snooze button multiple times, each time adding 10 minutes, with a maximum of 50 minutes added. stupid design.

Mine goes up to at least 90 minutes, I don't know where the actual limit is, if any.

Should work from day one at making me never fall asleep again.
