I just finished listening to part one of Twilight of the Gods, a five-part radio doc about the history of records and the record business, on CBC Ideas. I highly recommend checking it out (you can stream it from my link). Part one discusses Edison's invention of the phonograph, his competition with Berliner's gramophone, and up until the rise to dominance of RCA-Victor. I'm probably describing it boringly, but it's very interesting.

Ha. I think the bride pooping was about where I cracked. Ravyn Jasper-Hawkes facebook feed is like a mini slow forum.
