Ken, my friend Ray is going to be stationed at Vandenberg in a few months, and will have a few months of downtime once he's there before he starts training. I'll mostly likely come out there around that time, guessing March/April or so, will have to meet up for a beer.

Whoa! David, you know what trout do in the mountain springs right?

yes, but this water contains no biological contamination.

you can view the results here

do you know that red wine is one of the most common sources of arsenic (natural occurring and inorganic sprays) and the lead-shot used in cleaning the bottles?

Well everyone knows that a healthy life style is the slowest way to die. police.gif

All the wineries I buy from use virgin glass, bottle cleaning is a euro thing from what I understand.

you could also consume some US grown rice and chicken (yet another reason why i always try to eat organic).

Greg, i'd suggest (as i've done with my wife) that you try to find good organic red wines as arsenic pesticides are used at most US vineyards.

I must not be getting enough arsenic or my skin would clear up.

Actually, a lot of great vineyards including most that I subscribe to, are going or are already biodynamic, so great wine does not negate healthy wine consumption. Again, Cali and some Rhone and Burgundy vineyards have been leading the way since many owners and winemakers feel natural growing methods yield richer more complex wines. Pesticides and fertilizers have been suspect in the shortfalls of many wines making them flat and dull tasting albeit cheaper to produce with higher profit margins.

Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale in celebration of Reggie Wayne's game winning touchdown in what might've been his final home game playing for the Colts...perish the thought...

I see a lot of empty seats there. Are you all just waiting for Andrew Luck?

Posted

if it weren't for Andrew Luck, we'd have no luck at all...

that shot was way before the game started...there were very few empty seats...

unfortunately, we own the tie breaks haha...we could still catch the Rams & maybe the Vikings...there's a lotta talk of firing Caldwell...
