emelius Posted November 3, 2011 Report Posted November 3, 2011 Green Flash Double Stout...survived Stoutapalooza somehow only to meet its demise tonight... there's a rumor that Green Flash is bringing back their acclaimed Silva Stout...when I went to check into Double Stout on untappd, it said that I've had Silva Stout...I don't recall when & where so I checked my notes... all it said was “forgot to take the garbage out”...
emelius Posted November 3, 2011 Report Posted November 3, 2011 ^^no one else grew up in the '80's?...Shel Silverstein?...fine:)... Abita 25th Anniversary Vanilla Doubledog...a light bodied dessert beer?...why didn't anyone else think of this before?...um...ya...not my favorite brewery...& I've been there & taken the tour...
Voltron Posted November 3, 2011 Report Posted November 3, 2011 (edited) Grew up a couple decades earlier, but that wasn't a slam dunk reference from what I can tell. Had several glasses of some Kunde Sauvignon blanc while AT&T did it's best to blow my brain up with aneurisms. Now having a very nice Hanky Panky cocktail inspired bu Marc's frequent usage. Went heavy on the Fernet and I'm diggin' it Edited November 3, 2011 by Voltron
emelius Posted November 3, 2011 Report Posted November 3, 2011 you don't remember the time that Sarah Cynthia Sylvia Stout would not take the garbage out?...
Voltron Posted November 3, 2011 Report Posted November 3, 2011 Nope. But if you had said your notes read: "Green Flash Silva Stout . . . would not take the garbage out" it might have triggered the memory for somebody.
emelius Posted November 3, 2011 Report Posted November 3, 2011 fair point, but I was close enough that my sister would've got it:)...I'm tempted to check my notes for the rest of that night...I hope it wasn't expensive...
Augsburger Posted November 3, 2011 Report Posted November 3, 2011 Speaking of the 80' I'm having a 2006 Blackbird Illustration, a nice cornucopia of grapes and alcohol.
