cetoole Posted October 22, 2011 Report Posted October 22, 2011 Dinny, I will be right over! $52?! A store around here usually has it for under $50, and occasionally the 12 cask as well. Working on a '10 Primal Roots red blend, its different. I am not sure I have actually had non dry wine before.
shellylh Posted October 22, 2011 Report Posted October 22, 2011 Looks pretty good John (next time get some Rain vodka though). Margarita (Don Julio Anejo + Cointreau) here.
jvlgato Posted October 22, 2011 Report Posted October 22, 2011 (edited) Thanks, Shelly. I'll look for the Rain. I really like the St Germain. Sounds like a good margarita. Edited October 22, 2011 by jvlgato

shellylh Posted October 22, 2011 Report Posted October 22, 2011 Manhattanlike beverage (shouldn't there be a special name for a Manhattan with bourbon instead of rye?) 2 oz Blanton's bourbon 1 oz Cocchi di Torino sweet vermouth 2 dashes Fee Brothers Whiskey Barrel Aged bitters 2 Griottines cherries This is a nice drink. I do like the Blanton's. The Whiskey Barrel Aged bitters are awesome.
morphsci Posted October 22, 2011 Author Report Posted October 22, 2011 ... (shouldn't there be a special name for a Manhattan with bourbon instead of rye?) A Boyhattan?
shellylh Posted October 22, 2011 Report Posted October 22, 2011 (edited) A Boyhattan? Should we add it to the name that drink thread? Edited October 22, 2011 by shellylh
morphsci Posted October 22, 2011 Author Report Posted October 22, 2011 Should we at it to the name that drink thread? Sounds like a good idea. Al's Moloko and awesome sandwich inspired me to go for a stout stout.
Voltron Posted October 22, 2011 Report Posted October 22, 2011 I had to finish the Moloko in my new shower in SF It helped ease the pain and embarrassment of dropping a piece of stainless steel trim on the corner of the shower shelf. D'oh! The feeling persisted so I opened an Arctic Panzer Wolf with dinner. DAMN I love this beer! Hooking up the TV and HT speakers and seriously considering the FFF trifecta because a Dreadnaught is nicely chilled right now. Hopefully I won't fry the system or anything.
Aura Posted October 22, 2011 Report Posted October 22, 2011 Hellz yeah Al! Get ready for more Moloko .
909 Posted October 22, 2011 Report Posted October 22, 2011 What do you think of my Malibu persona? seriously, my wife and i thought of you... right now, I am drinking Hawaiian Isles 100% Hawaiian Purified Water.
Voltron Posted October 22, 2011 Report Posted October 22, 2011 lol @ David Which one tastes better, Mike?
RudeWolf Posted October 22, 2011 Report Posted October 22, 2011 Finally.... Cuba libre from crappy Captain Morgan rum and smoked flounder. A worthy end to my two month no rum period.
shellylh Posted October 22, 2011 Report Posted October 22, 2011 two month no rum period. Why would you do something like that?
RudeWolf Posted October 22, 2011 Report Posted October 22, 2011 (edited) Why would you do something like that? It seems that the Stax mafia in Reykjavik is controlling the booze market. Thou shall not have any other addiction but uncolored sound and lightning fast transients. One liter of rum has a price of Grado SR60i. Edited October 22, 2011 by RudeWolf
mikeymad Posted October 22, 2011 Report Posted October 22, 2011 New Costco Buy -> Macallan 1991/20yo (sherry Finish) 40% - Kirkland
Bigguy Posted October 23, 2011 Report Posted October 23, 2011 So Mikey, was is the verdict on this? ^^
