Voltron
I've been damn curious, but I use Chartreuse in cocktails and do not drink it neat as an aperitif/digestif so I tend to think it would be a waste for me.
mikeymad
For me I would probably look for the 50cl bottle of the VEP... Just to have it now and then and share it around.

shellylh
Decided to pick up some local brew in a can (Southern Star Buried Hatchet Stout). To my surprise, it was quite good!!! Glad to see more craft beer being produced in TX. Edited October 21, 2011 by shellylh

Cee Tee
Aviation de l'Heure de Violet Fantastique! Before I order some Griottines Morello Cherries (do I buy a lot and gift them at Christmas too)...might you please compare the Luxardo Maraschinos with them? I find the Luxardo cherries "waxy" in texture, they have a nice flavor, and are not too sweet.
luvdunhill
The Griottines don't have a sweet flavor, they taste very raisin-like to me.

The Griottines are less sweet, a smoother, less plastic texture and the "syrup" is not as dense or sweet.
Cee Tee
Thanks. They come in nice little gift jars too...we'll all have to try them! Currently: BTW: Regarding Chartreuse...a French Master Chef told me yesterday about the existence of a 150 yr. old PURPLE. Anyone ever tried??? Voltron
Quite a display of power tonight Mikey! The Aviation with lime instead of lemon is very nice. Next up, a Lot B Old Fashioned to drown my sorrows over the Rangers coming back to win in the 9th. And Griottines will be my next cherries because I don't like Luxardos. mikeymad
it would be real easy to drink too much of this before you know it. Sherry does that for me....
