I second Casa Noble. I haven't had the reposado but their CN anejo is my favorite anejo at this time.

Having a variation of Marc's Not Theory. Unfortunately, I didn't have any Gran Classico bitters so I had to sub Campari. It is nice but I think this would have been better with a little less Campari. I especially like the grapefruit peel.

3/4 oz Reposado Tequila (sub Anejo tequila)

3/4 oz Gran Classico Bitter (sub Campari)

3/4 oz Cocchi Torino

1/4 oz simple syrup

Stir and garnish with a grapefruit peel.

Upping the ante is the right thing to do Jim!

My Monte Carlo was even better because it called for 2.25oz of rye! :) I made another with Lot B bourbon and it was even better than the High West Rye version. Hmm, I wonder if a better rye would make an been better version. To the lab!

EDIT: now I can say the Rittenhouse 25 version is super good! Wow.

I envy Stretch, that looks like a mighty good Muscat. 2.5 hours til Cabernet time.

*3.5 hours later* Gee you guys must be very busy this afternoon. I figured there would be a dozen posts following my last one before I was able to post what I am having with dinner.

2007 Ojai Soloman Hills Vineyard Pinot. Good, not great or awesome.
