Fitz Posted September 4, 2011 Report Posted September 4, 2011 Isn't Spam a delicacy in Hawaii and maybe the Philippines? Could be wrong, just off the top of my head ... Not so much a delicacy, but I thought it became popular in Hawaii during WW2 because it was one of the few foods that were readily available.
Hopstretch Posted September 4, 2011 Report Posted September 4, 2011 Scored a few cases of the new 2009 Shiraz from the farm just down the road from our house. As good as just about anything else made in SA, in my opinion. Lekker spot, too.

Augsburger Posted September 5, 2011 Report Posted September 5, 2011 Nice looking score Stretch! Tonight I am drinking a Husic Cabernet from the Stag's Leap District so a SL alert goes out to Colin and Jeff, both Stag's Leap fans. This is a small production yet luscious Cab nice fruit layer depth on the palate that has a long finish. I will buy any Cabernet that has a palm tree on the label, and a nice score for me too!
