Been making Manhattans with bourbon to both conserve the Sazerac 18 and use up the Dolin while it's still plenty good. I've still got a few more to go before I get into any "fitzentypen" tonight. Should've gone to the store today and picked up some decent beer, since I won't be able to do so tomorrow (yay georgia law).

Definitely better with Plymouth.

As for the Genever, I am going to look for the Boomsma Oude and the Genevieve and do a comparison.

Now who can argue with that!

Cool, I'll buy the winner. They have an olde and younge Boomsa here, which are you going to try?

*Anvil time*

Now that I have some Punt e Mes, I can finally make a proper Red Hook.

2 oz Wild Turkey Rye

1/2 oz Punt e Mes

1/4 oz Maraschino Liqueur

1 dash Angostura bitters

1 dash Regans orange bitters

This drink is full of WIN! :)

Bought a bottle of this yesterday at Square One, distilled on the premises.

Much higher in botanicals than, say, Bluecoat. Had G&T last night, wasn't thrilled. But a dirty martini now with Dolin Blanc is smooth and tasty.
