Absorbine_Sr
Mike is not in the house. Enjoy emelius!! Mike is however lazing on the sofa with a Boodles martini. Just started keeping my gin in the freezer and I am enjoying the higher viscosity and lack of dilution. Cheers all!

shellylh
Attended cocktail class with Scott Beattie of Artisinal Cocktails book fame with the master distiller of Charbay with numerous spirits and cocktails. Nice!!! How was it? Shelly, as a fellow Aperol and soda drinker, you might like this one: 6/4 oz Cocchi Americano 1/4 oz Campari 1/4 oz sparkling water Serve on ice. ^This except I made it with slightly more Campari and sparkling water (maybe 1/2 oz each). It is a very nice drink for today considering that the heat index is still 91 degrees here right now.* *I guess I cannot complain too much I see that Austin had a high of 106 today (without heat index)!!! Luckily it only got to 98 here. Edited June 19, 2011 by shellylh
luvdunhill
Cool! I thought it was nice as well. Me? Xanthia Cocktail (Savoy) Equal parts dry gin, Kirsch and Yellow Chartreuse. Nice and somehow strangely is a nice followup to the Cocchi Americano drinks...

Dusty Chalk
Penn Brewery St. Nikolaus Bock Bier -- meh, drinkable, not bad, but I think I waited too long on this one, it has a watery-ness to it that I don't know how to describe.
