agile_one
Michigan in a bottle. Bell's makes great beer, and this (Two Hearted Ale) is just one of them. Can I get an Amen, brotha Al? Yes, that is the Gulf of Mexico and American flag in the background off the back porch. The Belmont Stakes was a slight upset, with Ruler On Ice, a 20-1 shot taking it all, and Stay Thirsty (my pick, of course) taking 2nd from 20-1 as well. As to the great beer stakes, the favorite, CCB Humidor IPA won handily over Ballast Sculpin IPA, but I came away with great admiration of Sculpin as a session beer I could love. raffy
Nice Gene, I'm a big fan of Two Hearted too....I actually like it better than Hopslam. My pick for the stakes were Shackleford (who led most of it) and Monzon - at 24 to 1 he would've paid out nicely 21st Amendment IPA for me right now Edited June 11, 2011 by raffy

shellylh
Nice looking drink Jim! Decided to make myself another Saratoga (with Armagnac instead of Cognac). 1 oz Wild Turkey rye 1 oz Cerbois Armagnac VSOP 1 oz Carpano Antica sweet vermouth* 2 dashes of Angostura bitters This is a most excellent boozy drink. I think next time I will use 3/4 oz Carpano Antica.
