morphsci
Two full size Vespers. One with Gale Force and one with North Shore 11. Karen preferred the Gale Force so that worked well for both of us.

Fitz
Try this with the Lillet even though Cocchi is better: Corpse Reviver (No. 2) 1/4 Wine Glass Lemon Juice (3/4 oz Fresh Lemon Juice) 1/4 Wine Glass Kina Lillet. (3/4 oz Cocchi Aperitivo Americano) 1/4 Wine Glass Cointreau. (3/4 oz Cointreau) 1/4 Wine Glass Dry Gin. (3/4 oz Bombay Gin) 1 Dash Absinthe. (Verte de Fougerolles) Shake well and strain into cocktail glass. Trying it now, a bit unusual compared to the other cocktails I've made... doesn't really have a distinct "new" flavor, but the individual flavors kind of ebb and flow. Also going down very quickly. Karen preferred the Gale Force so that worked well for both of us. Back in the lab making mini margaritas (it's a tough job but someone.... oh well, you know the saying): #1 1 oz Casa Noble Anejo tequila 3/8 oz Clement Creole Shrubb orange liquor 1/4 oz lime juice #2 1 oz Don Julio Anejo tequila 3/8 oz Clement Creole Shrubb orange liquor 1/4 oz lime juice They are both awesome but I slightly prefer the ultra smooth Don Julio over the Casa Noble with the extra bite. Others may prefer the CN though.

morphsci
Nice experimentation Shelly! For Lillet Blanc cocktails, one of my favorites is the Bourbon Dynasty.   2 oz Bourbon   1 oz Lillet (white)   1 tsp crème de cassis   2 dashes of Peychaud’s bitters   lemon peel (garnish) Stir with ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Twist a piece of lemon peel over top, releasing the oils and drop in drink. Decided to take my own advice
Fitz
Decided to fuck around a little since I have no idea what I'm doing and ended up with a drink made with 2 1/2 oz rye, 1/2 oz campari, and 2 dashes of peychaud's. Is there a name for something like this? Not anything great, but it's immensely drinkable.
grawk
and I've now killed that 1/4 bottle of talisker 10. I only have the distillers and 18 left, neither of which I like as much.
shellylh
Nice experimentation Shelly! Decided to take my own advice So did I and I like it. Definitely need the essential oils from the lemon peel. Decided to fuck around a little since I have no idea what I'm doing and ended up with a drink made with 2 1/2 oz rye, 1/2 oz campari, and 2 dashes of peychaud's. Is there a name for something like this? Not anything great, but it's immensely drinkable. Don't know but it sounds good.

Duggeh
I have no tequila, otherwise I'd be on that like a shot. -edit- (accidently pun LULZ) I also have no vodka which isn't flavoured atm. Got lots (lots) of whisky. Campari, Cynar, Gin, vermouth (all kinds), brandy, rum (all sorts), Just typing that out is screaming a cynar negroni at me.
