agile_one Posted July 2, 2011 Report Posted July 2, 2011 na zdravĂ! back at you, Al. Sounds like tons of fun for you and Alden on the Segways. A local tour outfit does segway tours here in Sarasota, and is a hit. I'm enjoying RR Sanctification thanks to your generorsity. Lovely stuff, indeed.
Voltron Posted July 2, 2011 Report Posted July 2, 2011 Well, that was only the return of a great favor. I have some wonderful pics od Sophie with the Nikon FG in action but the damned Internet here cannot manage an upload. Did you have Sanctification before? Craig at City Beer claimed this was a good batch and I bought a couple extra bottled for myself so I am curious.
Grahame Posted July 2, 2011 Report Posted July 2, 2011 Sounds like yet another Does Not SuckTm day on Al's Blitz, er, lightning tour of Mitteleuropa. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=soVZJ7d1pQs
agile_one Posted July 2, 2011 Report Posted July 2, 2011 Al, yes, I've had Sanctification before, and This is better than I remember. Craig has done you good. This is Batch #005, and it' a definite keeper.
Dusty Chalk Posted July 2, 2011 Report Posted July 2, 2011 Stillwater Existent -- very good Also tried the DC Brau Citizen -- outstanding, not hoppy at all Sent from mah Droid
shellylh Posted July 3, 2011 Report Posted July 3, 2011 Sounds like a lot of fun Al! I had a margarita with my new bottle of El Tesoro Platinum tequila with dinner. It was magically delicious! Hopefully the bottle lasts til Monday. 3/2 oz El Tesoro Platinum tequila 1/2 oz Cointreau 3/4 oz lime juice Agave syrup (not really measured)
shellylh Posted July 3, 2011 Report Posted July 3, 2011 Another margarita, this time with Senor Curaçao, not nearly as good.
raffy Posted July 3, 2011 Report Posted July 3, 2011 Jai Alai IPA. This 6 pack seems to be from an odd batch. Definitely has some cedar notes to it but not as strong as Humidor. A little darker than I'm used to seeing from Jai Alai too.
luvdunhill Posted July 3, 2011 Report Posted July 3, 2011 Interesting, worth trying? I liked it. Start with just a bit of Violette, say 1/8 oz. Next, Leatherneck (without the blue curaçao) 2 oz scotch 3/4 oz cointreau 1/2 oz lime juice
luvdunhill Posted July 3, 2011 Report Posted July 3, 2011 I liked it. Start with just a bit of Violette, say 1/8 oz. I did equal parts though, no sugar. Next, Leatherneck (without the blue curaçao) 2 oz scotch 3/4 oz cointreau 1/2 oz lime juice
luvdunhill Posted July 3, 2011 Report Posted July 3, 2011 ok, the scotch marg sounds gross Heh. It's not bad, I challenge someone else to give it a go. Probably with a curaçao than a triple sec though.
Dusty Chalk Posted July 3, 2011 Report Posted July 3, 2011 Also had the oatmeal stout at 901 (Capital City BrewCo) -- yummy.

luvdunhill Posted July 3, 2011 Report Posted July 3, 2011 Nice! I have not heard the term 'off-dry' before, but sounds like a winner!
luvdunhill Posted July 3, 2011 Report Posted July 3, 2011 Bitters are great! That's more a classic style. Good stuff. Me, Red Breast 12. Rocks.
