Voltron Posted June 22, 2011 Report Posted June 22, 2011 (edited) Tecate with lime at the ball game. Not as bad tasting as the horrible, horrible nachos I got with it. Oh, and I forgot I drank a Widmer pale ale while waiting for the travesty nachos. Edited June 22, 2011 by Voltron
guzziguy Posted June 22, 2011 Report Posted June 22, 2011 Bad Velveeta nachos are bad. Most ballpark type of nachos seem to be made with Velveeta or something cheese-like even worse.
Voltron Posted June 22, 2011 Report Posted June 22, 2011 This is worse. They are fancy nachos with some allegedly real cheese sauce, chicken and carnitas and multi-color chips. I would have preferred the velveeta kind. Yuck.
manaox2 Posted June 22, 2011 Report Posted June 22, 2011 I love oak aged yeti (better than any of its variants). I took my sweet time with an original sin cider and cigar on the patio while reading.
Dusty Chalk Posted June 22, 2011 Report Posted June 22, 2011 Going back & forth between Diseno old vine malbec and Val de Salis malbec Pays d'oc -- both are middling, yet drinkable Sent from mah Droid
jvlgato Posted June 22, 2011 Report Posted June 22, 2011 These whisky events look like fun, if you're near NYC. http://www.astorcenternyc.com/class-.aspx?class=southern-tradition-whiskey-cocktails-for-summer&utm_content=jun22&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Newsletter&utm_content=Newsletter+CID_8e07dbe22f3322528a642390ebac0db5&utm_source=campaignmonitor&utm_term=Southern+Tradition+Whiskey+Cocktails+for+Summer http://www.astorcenternyc.com/class-.aspx?class=scotch-whisky-a-regional-tasting-tour&utm_content=jun22&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Newsletter&utm_content=Newsletter+CID_8e07dbe22f3322528a642390ebac0db5&utm_source=campaignmonitor&utm_term=Scotch+Whisky+A+Regional+Tasting+Tour
manaox2 Posted June 22, 2011 Report Posted June 22, 2011 Schneider & Sohn Aventinus. This beer is a must-try if you haven't before. Enjoying it with some Holland smoked Gouda and stone ground wheat crackers.
raffy Posted June 22, 2011 Report Posted June 22, 2011 More Two Hearted love here follow by a relatively mediocre Red Brick Dog Days ale
Augsburger Posted June 23, 2011 Report Posted June 23, 2011 (edited) It hit the 90's today so it's time for white while toasting Al's safe and fun journey to the land of the Pilsners and Dusty's malbec journey. H. Billiot Cuvee Laetitia The foil is pretty cool too.. Taste is very interesting, strong note of citrus and almonds on the finish. This is a very good "producer" champagne worth at least 50% more than it's price, would go very well with chilean sea bass or calimari. Edited June 23, 2011 by Augsburger
Fitz Posted June 23, 2011 Report Posted June 23, 2011 More Two Hearted love here follow by a relatively mediocre Red Brick Dog Days ale A Two Hearted here too, but I don't go near Red Brick beers. Blech.
manaox2 Posted June 23, 2011 Report Posted June 23, 2011 I've lately not been too thrilled with the two hearted. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth. But I did have it many times. Now drinking a Harpoon Leviathan IPA. I like.
luvdunhill Posted June 23, 2011 Report Posted June 23, 2011 Sloe Gin Cocktail Equal parts. Nice play between the Sloe and the Carpano.

Now drinking a Harpoon Leviathan IPA. I like. It does have a slightly strange taste to it, but I only notice it if I'm drinking out of a glass, and not straight from the bottle.
luvdunhill Posted June 23, 2011 Report Posted June 23, 2011 An absolutely wonderful gin old-fashioned:
Voltron Posted June 23, 2011 Report Posted June 23, 2011 Nice Marc! I'm having a Pliny but may an old fashioned is likely in my immediate future.
Dusty Chalk Posted June 23, 2011 Report Posted June 23, 2011 Finca Roja malbec last night -- not bad.
Voltron Posted June 23, 2011 Report Posted June 23, 2011 Shovel beer in the petite Air France lounge at SFO. Practice for Germany.
Grahame Posted June 23, 2011 Report Posted June 23, 2011 That looks a decidedly petite glass. Must be French. (hence the off with its (lack of) head) Now if you were in The Fatherland, they would show you what a real girls drink looks like
Dusty Chalk Posted June 23, 2011 Report Posted June 23, 2011 Now if you were in The Fatherland, they would show you what a real girls drink looks like There are drinks in that picture?!?!?
