NightWoundsTime
Came home after a 100+ degree day, with a 116 heat index. Cranked the AC down much lower than I normally do, celebrating with a Great Divide Hibernation Ale (Nov 2009 bottling date). Might follow with a Cigar City Warmer Winter Winter Warmer. None of this is going to make my tomorrow an especially nice time, but fuck it. Edited June 15, 2011 by NightWoundsTime
NightWoundsTime
Hey nice, got rewarded with the ultimate Florida summer treat, a late evening serious rainstorm. I guess it all balances out with the AC situation, it gets a decent break tonight.
NightWoundsTime
Jim's bottle reminds me that I have not seen any BMH 23 at stores for a long time. Anybody bought a bottle recently? Haven't bought but I've seen. Can secure and ship if needed.
Voltron
Haven't bought but I've seen. Can secure and ship if needed. Glad the weather broke a bit. Thanks for the offer, but I am more curious than in need. I see lots of their bourbon but never see the rye except in bars.

Aura
I saw bombers with the new artwork at my local Whole Foods last week. Nearly bought one just because of the update. It looks badass imo.
emelius
two frat boys were just in...they received their APWs & then walked out in disgust after hearing they were $5.50 each... well, first they tried to haggle & name drop (Jim Morrison)...then they bolted...I was ready to pick up the tab, but the beers quickly found new homes... shellylh
Good stuff Marc! What kind of gin is that? Having a few sips of Metaxa Grande Fine before dinner. I was thinking of making some "brandied" cherries with Metaxa 7 star? What say you cocktail experts?
luvdunhill
It's a very nice gin. This place has a massive number of Gin on the menu, very pumped. Just had something with Cocchi Torino and that Hans Alpens Walnut stuff. Mmmmmmmmmm. I didn't expect the Torino to be so sweet! Not all a general vermouth sub... But, very nice. manaox2
You mean Breakfast Stout? Where did you get that this time of year or did you stash it from previous years? I bought it Thursday before last. It had been chilling in the distributors warehouse since November, they found it, thought my local craft store guy would like a case. The rest is history...
